When Lord Williams got the news from Lord valley that the king wanted to marry his first daughter and make her his queen, he was not very comfortable.
He immediately made an appointment to see the king.
He was not fooled by the rumors, he knew the true situation but he never thought to clear the queen's name, after all, stability was needed within the kingdom.
"Your majesty," Lord Williams bowed when he entered the king's study..
"Lord Williams, I have heard your daughter's beauty is one of a kind," the king said with a warm smile.
"Your majesty, my daughter took after her mother ," he accepted the compliment with a humble smile.
"Lord Williams need not to be so formal with me. In a short while we can become family. You have always been loyal to the crown and it's only seems fitting," king Edward said. Now that the rumors has been taking care of he did not think that Lord Williams had a reason to reject this marriage.
