One of the attendants at the threshold stepped forward — a young celestial maiden with opaline skin and glowing threads of silver in her hair. She bowed low, voice gentle as bells.
"The Supreme Goddess is bathing, Lady Ylyra. She left instruction not to be disturbed."
Ylyra did not blink. "Tell her I seek her audience," she said, her voice firm but respectful. "It is urgent. It concerns The Moonbound Legacy."
The attendant's eyes widened slightly at the name, a ripple of concern crossing her otherwise tranquil face. Without another word, she turned and vanished through a smaller side door that led into the sanctum.
Ylyra waited, hands folded behind her back, her silver eyes fixed on the door the attendant had slipped through. Though her posture remained composed, tension simmered beneath her skin.
