There were, of course, applications on the battlefield as well.
These were categorized into beast-based biotechnology and plant-based biotechnology.
Beast-based biotechnology involves multiple types of biological enhancements to one's own body—armor, weapons, and physical tissues all exhibit distinct living characteristics.
Ships created under this path were known as beastships, which are biological spacecraft capable of consuming, attacking, and reproducing. They operate much like predators, with a signature advantage in speed.
Plant-based biotechnology, on the other hand, involved deep development of the Life Tree connected to the New God Realm and its associated flora over the past three thousand years. This led to unique biological cultivation technologies.
These include plant-armor, artificial eyes, lotus-root arms, and life-hearts, among others.
A prime example of this direction in the interstellar era is the starship.
Its key feature is assembly via a biological production line—not constructed by robotic arms, but grown from incubation mediums.
Bones, panels, axles, joints—all components are cultivated from life seeds, forming a complete starship.
These are just research directions from a single school of thought, particularly suitable for warfare applications.
And it was exactly this that Di Tian needed.
To perfectly hunt his targets—the former Evil God King and the former Good God King—within the Yin-Yang Coronet Plane, Di Tian had laid down a multi-layered heavenly net.
A fleet of 100,000 spacecraft, integrating research results from all branches of technology, were organized into various squadrons.
They carried specialized hunting tech: targeted interdiction star nets, space-concealing soul devices, cyclical star-source linked defense shields, and more—all essentially traps.
This outer layer of 100,000 ships was just the outermost dumpling skin.
If all went smoothly, the fleet wouldn't even need to act—they'd merely be spectators.
The middle layer of this trap was the New God Realm itself—that is, Shenzhou Continent.
With countless blessed realms and an atmosphere of rich immortal spiritual energy, the plane's fundamental laws and structures were vastly reinforced, giving it a dimensional strength far superior to lower planes or the vacuum of space. It could withstand star-destroying level assaults.
Sometimes, it's not that the deities of Shenzhou are weak—but rather that the plane strength they inhabit is immensely powerful.
The innermost layer of this trap included Di Tian himself, Bi Ji, Zi Ji, the Demon Empress, and the God Punishment Formation deployed via the central core of the God Realm.
Overall, it all seemed like using a cannon to kill a mosquito.
But that's exactly what Di Tian wanted.
That excessive sense of security—it was genuinely soothing to body and soul.
New God Realm, First Peak
The energy core of the God Realm.
"Zzzzz…"
A crackling electric noise echoed as a holographic projection lit up before Di Tian.
It displayed the Yin-Yang Coronet Plane, which Di Tian had long kept on the back burner.
Clearly, the beastships, famed for their speed, had been waiting in the outer star regions of the Yin-Yang Coronet Plane for quite some time.
The Yin-Yang Coronet Plane was built on Five Element laws, its structure stabilized by the balance between Yin and Yang.
Seen from the outer space, it glittered brilliantly—a true gem of the universe.
To those with real insight, however, another layer became visible.
Beneath the dazzling surface, the plane was infused with powers beyond those of lower planes, and even beyond normal deities.
Two such transcendent powers were in operation here, with patterns uncannily similar to those of Destruction and Life.
Mutually opposing, yet tightly interlinked.
The faint flickering of divine energy was the outward manifestation of two super divine artifacts: the Scales of Judgment and the Heart of Goodness.
So, what were the two peak-level God Kings doing, now that Di Tian was leading an army to their doorstep?
It all stemmed from a bet between the Evil God King and Good God King regarding Ji Dong and Lie Yan.
The Evil God King ultimately lost.
As such, with one willing to yield and the other willing to accept, they temporarily handed over their divine thrones to Ji Dong and Lie Yan…
…so they could personally descend to the Yin-Yang Coronet Plane, to experience the mystery of love.
This current lifetime was the 101st reincarnation of their fated love.
Yin-Yang Coronet Plane, Southern Fire Empire, Lihuo City
In Lihuo City, there was a famous bar.
Its fame came from one simple fact: the Holy King of the Bright World, Ji Dong the Wine God, mixed his very first drink here.
The bar's name? "Flame of Passion."
Legend says that the first drink Ji Dong ever made for his beloved—the Queen of the Earth's Core World, Lie Yan—was called "Flame of Passion."
"Memories of the God Realm…"
"What is the God Realm? Are there goddesses in it?"
Chaotic and disordered memories flickered through the mind of a young man in black.
Unlike the first time he reincarnated as part of his fated love, this time—now the 101st lifetime—his memories of being a God King had nearly faded.
The man, formerly the Evil God King, now sat alone in the bar, like a normal young man under love's spell, coming here in his hormone-fueled youth to look for love.
But was there really love in a bar?
Well… maybe.
Except, it was love twisted into a pretzel—commonly known as a one-night stand.
Take this young man in black, for example.
He encountered a cute girl in pink, with rabbit-ear hair accessories.
Her sweet and adorable face made a deep impression in his heart. She even felt strangely familiar to him.
They talked. He found out that she was a graduate of "Bar Dance."
Sounds like an artsy, dance-focused school, right?
Instantly, the young man thought: "She must be my destined soulmate."
And then?
Then he got upsold, of course.
Looking at the bar menu, with its drink packages, the "honest" price tags had several zeroes behind them.
He touched the 50 coins in his pocket—that symbol of poverty—and declared solemnly:
"I came to this bar to look for love!""True love can never be measured in money!""Fated love will come!"
At that moment, the sweet pink bunny girl stopped smiling.
She looked at him with an expression that clearly said:
"Who the hell comes to a bar to look for true love?"
"Ji Dong mixed drinks for his queen in the Earth's Core World, not in some bar for some random goddess."
"Fated love? My foot."
"You broke dummy, just say you're poor and stop wasting my time."
She shot him a final glance—something between pity and contempt—and turned away to find her next customer.
Leaving the young man in black, standing alone, bewildered.
Thankfully, he had a thick skin and firmly believed that fate would eventually guide him to his fated love.
So, he stayed in the bar.
