NARRATOR's POV
On The BattleField.
It had been two long, grueling hours since the soldiers of the Luminarch Order arrived at the border. In that time, they had thrown every spell, every chant, every ounce of magic they possessed at the barrier—but nothing had worked. Nothing at all. No matter how hard they tried, the result remained the same: failure.
"Sire Kaelith," one of the soldiers called out, his voice strained and loud enough to rise above the murmurs and rustling armor, "we can't just keep standing here with no plan. We've been here for hours already. I suggest we return to base—back to the tent—before they do something insane."
A wave of murmurs followed, growing among the sweating, weary soldiers who had been relentlessly attempting to breach the mystical blockade.
