Back at where Kasela had left Maximus at the gate, he stood there with a crooked smile on his face as his gaze was focused upward at kasela's window, he later walked away when the lights in her room went off, the few friends with him glanced at each other with a confused gaze wondering what was wrong with him.
It was barely a month since the new students got in and one of them had already got his attention. They had thought she was someone they were gonna bully and have fun with buy apart from spreading those rumors, he had not really done anything to her and they could not see the wicked intent he always held in his eyes each time he had a prey instead they noticed something else they couldn't explain.
Jared caught up with him and he walked alongside with him as he gave him a glance
"Why did you easily let her go?" He questioned but Maximus shrugged his shoulders
"Nothing, I will let her be for now, let her get used to the school first and after that I will make her mine" he said and Jared nodded his head though he was a little confused.
Maximus never really dated anyone, they were mainly playthings for him after which he discarded them but he kept the questions to himself.
Maximus knew Jared had questions for him but he choosed to be quiet. He had decided to let little rose be for a while and moreover when Regalus came back earlier, though no one noticed it, the guy had clearly glared at him and for a moment, he felt shivers run down his spine but he quickly covered it up and smirked at him.
He felt something was off about the vampire's behavior and he couldn't really understand what was going on. Was Regalus familiar with little rose? Though the girl never showed any hint of interest or recognization for him. Or did Regalus have any interest in her too? Maximus wondered but decided to wait and see how things were going to unfold later.
Meanwhile, Regalus' four friends had gone to their various rooms to rest after finishing the task they had gone leaving Bianca who had refused to go back to her dorm.
She was seated in Regalus bedroom with a frown while he took a bath. He emerged wearing a black bathrobe with droplets of water falling from his hair. Bianca took a little towel from the drawer and approached him, wanting to wipe his hair but he took the towel from her and turned his back on her as he began wiping his hair.
"You should return to your room, it's late" Regalus told her but she pouted
"No, I want to spend the night here, why are you pushing me away?" She whined and hugged him from behind.
"I really missed you this past week" she sighed and rested her head on his back but Regalus entangled her hands from his waist and turned around to face her.
"I'm really tired and I won't be able to give you much attention now, we will hang out tomorrow so you should return back to your room" he said with a serious expression and Bianca reluctantly nodded her head.
She picked up her bag and stood before him, Regalus raised an eyebrow at her and she puckered her lips requesting for a kiss. Wanting her to leave quickly, he moved closer and gave her a lingering peck on her cheek after which she left with a frown. 'Why does he keep refusing to give a proper kiss on the lips" she thought angrily while leaving.
Immediately the door closed Regalus closed his eyes and when he opened them, his eyes had turned red with two long glistening fangs protruding from his mouth. Since he left he hasn't had any blood for a week and he felt very thirsty now, he had to make Bianca leave as he didn't wish to reveal his identity to her.
His phone rang and he picked the call, few minutes later, he opened the door and after changing his appearance he went out to see a woman dressed seductively sitting on one of the armrests.
Seeing the handsome young man staring at her with a dark gaze excited her and she walks towards him and began caressing his chest through the bathrobe but Regalus who wasn't in the mood for that and only wanted to quench his thirst suddenly grabs her by the neck as his fangs elongated.
He sank his fangs into her neck, immediately making the woman moan painfully, some few minutes later, the lady had stopped breathing and Regalus retracted his fangs and licked his bloodied lips feeling satiated and as he released his hold on her, the lady dropped down dead at his feet. His appearance had completely changed back to normal and he returned back to his room.
He picked up his phone and dialed a number, no sooner had he dialed did the other person pick up the call
"Have someone come clean up my sitting room" he ordered and ended the call.
He took a bath again and changed into a grey pyjamas and lied on the bed, few minutes later he dozed off.
