And a new window popped up infront of me.
*******************
Would like to summon an avatar ?
[ Yes ] [ No ]
Note : This function is for permanently summoning an avatar, and is irreversible.

I clicked on [ Yes ] without a moment's hesitation. A new window flickered into existence.

Avatar Summoning Successful!
Host, please name the Avatar and configure its settings as per your wish!

Then after much deliberation, I named him ....Geber Medes!
Well, this suited my hope of making him the best and strongest Alchemist to ever exist.
And from the memories of previous owner it seems that this is a fantasy world. Well, here we can do Alchemy, so that much was given.

And after naming the avatar and getting an Avatar Tab to keep track of my avatars, it was still far from over.
System proceeded to keep Growth Type as the default for each of my avatar in future. And made an Alchemy System for Medes.
After that my System designed Geber Medes Alchemy System UI, keeping his cautious, disciplined nature, his growth type existence and Alchemist class in mind.

After viewing the status of my first Avatar, I nodded with satisfaction. And as I saw the new system UI of Ashfern, my satisfaction only grew.
I then proceeded to check the stats of my first ever avatar through the status screen.

So, Geber Medes was even more powerful than the current me, despite being an Apprentice Alchemist. And despite being a pheasant ( not pissant again ) 's son, he had quite good stats.
After admiring my own avatar for a while, I tried controlling it. And as expected, when I controlled my avatar I wasn't able to control my own body.
It was like playing a game in one account then switching my account to another and not being able to play with the previous account at the same time.
It was okay for now but in future, it would put me in a tough situation, dangerous even. So, I started searching for a solution.
And I found many in system shop. Yep, this non sentient system even had a freaking shop.
But the lowest costing trait for controlling multiple bodies took all my System Points in one go. And thus, I acquired a trait named [ Hive Mind ] and it wasn't at max level. It was a mere level one skill. But fortunately, it was upgradable.
I tried clicking on the upgrade button to see it's upgrade cost, and it was a freaking 10,000 System Points. I immediately clicked my tongue after just taking a glance at the price.
' This is a freaking scam! A total scam!' I thought to myself. Then I calmed myself. As things were, I didn't even known how to earn these so called System Points.
Just as I was pondering on ways to gain these points, a new system notification prompted me to a halt.
[ System Points can be earned in the following ways:
1. Any deed done by host or his avatars, good or bad, gets a certain amount of System Points.
2. The influence exerted by the host and his avatars on the world/ worlds gets a continuous supply of System Points as long as the influence on maintained.
3. Other ways of earning System Points are to be found by host himself.]
So that's how it was, I thought myself. Then I asked Geber Medes to start making constructs, as that was his speciality. This was to experiment with the amount that can be earned by Medes after making one construct.
But we soon faced a series of problem. First, the formula brought by Zerek was trashy as per System formula analysis.
Second, the only full formula in possession of us was in the old Alchemy notebook in Alchemy Space.
And according to the Alchemy System it was considered an extremely high level formula in comparison to the current level of Gaus.
To solve this problem I checked the detailed description of items given by the Alchemy System to Medes. And I found a shocking thing. The Mysterious Alchemy Platform.
This gold-refining platform can actually automatically refine an alchemy item? And with this Mysterious Alchemy Platform, as long as I have the synthesis formula and materials, wouldn't I have a 100% success rate of refining it?
Looking at the large amount of rare materials and gold coins in the Alchemy Space, Gaus put them all into sorted categories. Then, he took out the Mysterious Alchemy Platform from the Alchemy Space and prepared to start refining.
Time was of the essence. There were only two ways now:
First, return those gold coins, see the mood of the royal families of two great countries and if they were willing to let him go. Gaus did not even need to think about this before he directly dismissed it.
What a joke! He had been reborn and his life was in his hands!
Moreover, after the kings of the Orm Empire and Church Empire discovered that Zerek escaped, they would definitely kill Gaus to vent their anger after thorough torture sessions.
Second, create powerful alchemical creatures and use them to threaten the leaders of those Empires, using them as a bargaining chip to negotiate with the others.
Obviously, any normal person would choose the second option without thinking.
Although Zerek was not very capable, he loved alchemy from the bottom of his heart.
Otherwise, if he was slightly more capable he would have become an Alchemist before he was about 50 years old.
The alchemy notes of the previous owner of the Alchemy Tower were still intact. This was a priceless treasure. It was in Alchemy Space.
Gaus found the notebook in the Alchemy space and carefully took that out. It was very old and tattered in appearance but still completely intact.
As the name suggests, the alchemy notebook was a notebook that alchemists used to record their daily experiments. It could be said to be the lifeblood of most Alchemists.
Because the failure rate of alchemy was very high, if the tiniest bit of materials did not match, it could lead to the failure of the entire alchemy, resulting in the relatively trashy deficiencies.
And materials would have to be gathered again and the process would have to be repeated again with utmost attention and new ratio.
Therefore, every Alchemist had a good habit of taking notes. It was to adjust the ratio of materials for the next alchemy, as well as to record their own insights so that they could provide direction and data for the next experiment.
Gaus opened the notebook. The handwriting on the notebook was rather messy, but thankfully, it did not affect Mas. He barely recognized some of the things recorded on it.
Gaus faced the catalog and quickly flipped through the notebook, hoping to find something from it. He finally found it!
The Gargoyle was an ancient product of one of the long-forgotten Lost Empires. It was a flying creature that could be mass-produced in ancient times.
It had extraordinary combat power and could be considered as one of the top four-star alchemical combat powers!
[Alchemy ingredients required to refine the Gargoyle: 25 kilograms of special tempered steel, four-star magic crystal, low-grade beast skin frame, one exquisite obsidian stone]
[Crafting Method: First, put 25 kilograms of special tempered steel into a flame with a temperature of 2,500 degrees Celsius for reforging…]
Gaus only took a glance at the refinement method. With the Mysterious Alchemy Platform, he did not need to learn the refinement method.
He only needed to refine the materials. And that also can be done by the platform itself. Quite convenient, indeed.
Through the formula, Gaus immediately started searching for the ingredients needed for the formula in the Alchemy Space.
After searching for less than a second, Gaus finally found an expensive four-star magic crystal in a corner and carefully took it out.
This magic crystal was square-shaped and emitted a faint yellow light, indicating that this magical crystal was of the earth attribute.
Gaus was really convinced. After months of systematic learning by original Gaus, he (current Gaus) knew some basic knowledge about alchemy.
For such a 4-star item to be sold on the market, it would probably cost thousands of gold coins. Even some slightly famous alchemy masters would have to think twice before buying an item of this level.
"Looks like the old man Zerek cheated quite a bit of money from the royal families… No wonder those people didn't dare doubt him." Gaus could not help but grin.
After all, Zerek had swindled the money from the royal families of the Orm Empire and Pope Empire ( also called Church Empire ) two months ago.
At that time, Gaus was still on that planet called Earth and did not know about this at all. He was innocent, but not so much now, unfortunately.
If Zerek had swindled millions of gold coins from the royal families of the two Great Empires and given those defective goods to them, causing the two Great Empires to retreat in defeat at the front line and suffer heavy losses, no one would be able to accept such a terrible thing. Fortunately, they haven't figured it out yet.
It looked like it would not be easy to deal with them this time. He hoped that the Gargoyle refined by the Mysterious Alchemy Platform would be able to help him survive this ordeal.
He had seen it in the history of Alchemy. That thing was extremely powerful. As a lost product of one of the Lost Empires, its combat power alone was equal to a thousand....
