Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 Plans

The three gods discussed while Eta continued painting. It would occasionally walk into the different rooms, observe the three for a few moments, then walk back out and place a stone slate on a wall.

Omega planned how they would teach Eta to control the universe as they did by having the one who was first, teach first. Alpha was to pass on his mastery of his own space to Eta. He was to allow it to take his carefully made universe and make it it's own. To change the universe of a place of pure order into one of beautifully organized chaos.

Gamma would be second as always. She was to pass on her deftness in controlling the flow of time. The ever branching paths of time would become Eta's own and every action it would take would cut or grow a new path. She was to allow it to ride the flow and observe past, present, and future to better it's new universe.

Omega was to be last as they ever were. They were to pass on the knowledge of laws and how they interacted with all things. All laws would be under Eta's beck and call to create and even destroy. They would allow it to create laws only one of true emotion could create. Only one of true passion could imagine. Only the one true master of reality could enforce.

Omega planned such that Eta would be the only remaining god. It would be the culmination of billions of years of thoughts and experiments. Eta would be the one true god that the three had never been aware they were waiting for.

It would become a being of pure creativity, pure curiosity, and pure power. They would not know whether Eta would become prideful or boastful or if it would encounter another god far into the future that it would train. Gamma had stopped looking towards the future and started to focus solely on the present.

"This is exciting my brothers! For the first time in existence, we'll be in the backseat for creation." Gamma stood up and set her staff on the table.

"Hopefully this will forever be the correct decision." Alpha slowly rolled his orb onto the table as is brushed by the icy staff.

"A correct decision it shall be, it's as sure as light moving and time flowing." Omega placed their scroll next to the other tools.

Eta entered the room once again, partially covered in a turf green and a beautiful dark purple paints. "It's finally done, finally done!" It placed a large stone tablet on the table on top of the three's tools.

The tablet featured the three of them in a slightly different style than they were in. Alpha's galaxies arranged in a beautiful pattern making use of the reds and yellows and blues of stars stood at the bottom of a small rock outcropping. Gamma was in a very refined grandfather clock style accented with gold and silver stood half way up the outcropping. Omega in very simple clothing the color of the earth and of life and of the water sat with they're back to the view, staring into a beautiful sunset the color of gold.

"How do you like it?" Eta stood just off to the side, observing the three's reaction.

Alpha moved to view it closely. "Is this how you see me? Such intricate designs with my stars."

Gamma already sped up time to observe it in its totality. "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful."

"Thank you, my child, for this wonderous piece. Where shall we put it this time?" Omega lifted it carefully as to not disturb the fresh paint.

Eta dragged the three gods outside, to the far corner of the pillar. The place where the sun meets the horizon every evening. There was the rock outcropping from the painting. It set the painting down at the very edge, fusing it to the rock itself as a small memorial of its first piece of the three gods.

Omega walked around the rocks, "Is there a reason you did not paint yourself in the piece my child?"

"It's made from my perspective. As if I was looking at you all during a far off evening, joining you all in the natural beauty of the world." Eta moved to the top of the rocks. It sat down watching the sun slowly trek across the sky.

The three join Eta to watch the sky. The four gods stood there for hours until the sun had set and stars took over the sky.

"My child, we shall start teaching you how to control our domains within the coming millennia's. That is what we had decided all those years ago." Omega placed a hand on Eta's head. "You are to be the true god of the universe."

Eta looked up at Omega, then back to the horizon line. "I'm not sure I can do it."

"That is okay, you may never be able to do it, but I believe in you my child." Omega sat down next to Eta. "We shall not force you, but I do ask for you to attempt to learn our domains. To understand all there is to about space, time, and laws. To freely control them as well."

It looked towards Omega, then to the other two gods, and nodded.
