Dominic's POV
The silence in the house had been louder than anything I'd ever heard.
I hadn't slept. Couldn't. Not with Gia missing. Not with the haunting replay of her lying unconscious on the floor playing over and over in my head. My insomnia had reached its peak—and this time, I didn't even fight it.
I sat in front of my computer, where she had last worked.
The screen came to life. Gia's profile was still logged in, and there were two files open that hadn't been there before. One was a series of encrypted notes—coordinates twisted and encoded in a pattern only she would understand. The other was a sealed folder titled "If I'm Gone".
My heart dropped
I hesitated for a second before opening it.
Instantly, the screen exploded into a whirlwind of documents, videos, audio clips—evidence. Of fraud. Of abuse. Of crimes I didn't even know how to label. Every dirty detail of Gia's father's empire, laid bare in high-definition clarity.
