The Sun God was truly dead!
At this moment, Yuto, bathed in the divine blood of Apollo. This audacious scene was not only witnessed by the gods but also broadcasted in real-time to the entire population of Orario.
"He actually… succeeded in killing a god?"
Inside the Loki Familia headquarters, the adventurers stared in disbelief at the horrifying display, their bodies trembling. In Orario, gods were revered as untouchable beings. These lofty deities had descended from the heavens, forsaking their divine comforts to grant blessings upon the mortal realm. And now, one of these supreme beings had been slain by a mere boy.
The shock wasn't limited to the Loki Familia. Every Familia in Orario felt a creeping dread, their awe of Yuto's newfound power mingling with fear.
"I underestimated him," Finn Deimne, the prum captain, muttered, his face grave. His own accomplishments felt insignificant compared to Yuto's god-slaying feat. The gap between them was vast, like an uncrossable chasm. While Finn was still climbing the mountain, Yuto had already reached its peak.
"Not surprising… Just like my father, a true hero," Ais Wallenstein murmured, her golden eyes gleaming with rare excitement as she watched the screen. The sight of Yuto, radiating an aura of divine wrath, made her heart race. His fierce, commanding presence etched itself deep into her soul.
News of Yuto's deed spread like wildfire through Orario. Even the gods, who might have wished to suppress it, were powerless to stop the tide. The title "God-Slayer" began to circulate, and soon, another name emerged: "Sun-Eater."
…..
Inside the grand hall, the gods sat in stunned silence. One of their own had been killed by a mortal. Fear gripped their hearts; Hermes, Loki, and the other divine rulers all felt a shiver of unease. They had unwittingly unleashed a monster, a mortal bold enough to challenge the heavens.
But amidst the dread, one goddess reveled in the chaos. Freya, the goddess of beauty, flushed with excitement, her skin glowing with an otherworldly hue. Her eyes, moist with obsession, locked onto Yuto. "You've only made me want you more, Yuto," she whispered, her voice trembling with desire.
Breaking the silence, Freya spoke up. "Since Yuto has achieved the impossible of slaying a god as a mortal, he deserves a title befitting his feat."
The gods exchanged uneasy glances. They had come for entertainment, but Yuto had flipped the board, rising from pawn to player. The shift in power was jarring, but the rules of the divine council were clear. They had no choice but to acknowledge him.
After a moment of hesitation, Hermes, the trickster god, squinted and suggested, "How about 'Sun-Eater'? He's the only one in history to bring down the sun. It's fitting."
A brief pause followed, then the gods nodded in agreement.
That day, the title "Sun-Eater" echoed through the streets of Orario. Crowds surged toward the "Hostess of Fertility," eager to catch a glimpse of the legendary hero acknowledged by the gods themselves.
But Yuto wasn't there. Instead, he stood in a secluded spot, examining his newfound powers.

"The rewards from slaying a god are beyond belief," Yuto mused, staring at the system's description. He had to read it several times to grasp the magnitude of his new powers. By killing Apollo, his [God-Slayer] skill had fully awakened, allowing him to seize all of the sun god's authorities.
'I've become a true god,' he realized. Without any external aid, he soared into the sky, closing his eyes to feel the transformation. His body was no longer human but was a divine vessel, impervious to blades, fire, water, and poison and instead of red blood, a warm, golden ichor flowed through his veins.
Boom!
His body thrummed with power, each cell resonating like thunder. He had transcended mortality.
'The sun is the source of all life,' he thought. 'Without it, the world withers. But even in darkness, my power remains.'
Smiling, Yuto opened his eyes. His divine energy resonated with the night, shaping the darkness into a sleek boat that carried him swiftly back to Hestia's home.

Inside the small room, Hestia stared at the parchment in disbelief, her body trembling. "Yuto… you've become the true Sun God?"
Her mind reeled, the world spinning around her.
"Why? How?" she stammered.
"Hestia!" Yuto quickly wrapped his arms around her waist, channeling a warm, golden light into her. "The truth is, I'm not from this world…"
As he explained his origins, Hestia's eyes widened in shock. By the end, she was dazed, clinging to his sleeve as if afraid he'd vanish.
"You're from another world? And now that you're a god… will you leave me? Leave this world?"
"I will leave eventually," Yuto admitted, "but not before I've made your Familia the strongest in the world. I promised you that, and I won't break my word."
He gently patted her back, soothing her fears.
With his adventurer abilities now obsolete and his mission complete, Yuto could leave this world anytime. But he knew some gods wouldn't tolerate what he did, and without planet-shattering power, he couldn't protect Hestia and his loved ones from their wrath.
Still, he wasn't worried. The system had assured him that time in this world would freeze when he left, preserving everything until his return. Once he gained the strength to shatter dimensions, he could come back for them.
"I trust you," Hestia whispered, her heart finally at ease. She snuggled into his chest, her smile radiant.
"Are you a puppy?" Yuto teased, kissing her cheek.
"Hmph! I'm not a dog!" Hestia pouted, giving him a playful glare.
"Since you're free now, let's try something new," Yuto said, beckoning her closer. As she crawled toward him, he produced a blue ribbon and tied her arms, then took hold of her twin tails with a mischievous grin.
"Practice makes perfect. Let's give it a shot."
…..
The next day, Yuto emerged from Hestia's room at midday, leaving the exhausted goddess to her dreams. With time to spare, he strolled to Hephaestus's forge.
Whoosh… Whoosh…
Flames roared in the furnace, filling the room with stifling heat. Yuto, unbothered by the temperature, watched Hephaestus work, admiring her focus.
Clad in her work clothes, the goddess of the forge was lost in her craft, hammering away at the anvil. It wasn't until much later that she noticed Yuto's presence.
"When did you get here? Are you checking on the weapon's progress?" she asked, wiping sweat from her brow, her face bare and beautiful.
"No," Yuto replied. "I came to tell you that Hestia and I have finished renovation of our home. We'll be moving out tomorrow."
Hephaestus froze, her hammer pausing mid-swing. Though she often complained about their presence, the thought of them leaving left a hollow ache in her chest. The house would feel empty without them and without the nightly sounds that made her blush.
"Will you be lonely when we're gone?" Yuto asked softly.
"Don't be ridiculous," Hephaestus scoffed. "I'm used to being alone with my forge. Do you think I care about goodbyes?"
She turned away, but Yuto stepped closer, meeting her gaze. "Being used to loneliness doesn't mean you enjoy it."
Their eyes locked, and Hephaestus quickly looked away, her heart pounding. "Admit it," Yuto pressed, pulling her into an embrace. "There's a place for me in your heart."
Hephaestus trembled, her voice barely a whisper. "How could someone as flawed as me deserve you?"
She touched the black eyepatch covering her right eye, a bitter smile on her lips. "Beneath this… is a face that would scare you."
