Northeast Whole Hog Restaurant.
Li Si never would have imagined that the elegant and poised Mrs. Leng would choose this place.
The table was laden with steaming-hot Northeast stew and hog-slaughter dishes. One after another, dishes like braised pork with vermicelli, three treasures stir-fry, sweet and sour pork, and Northeast-style cold noodles were served.
Mrs. Leng glanced at everyone. "I've always heard that Northeasterners are bold and generous. Just look at these plates—they prove it!"
At a glance, the platters were oversized, nearly a foot wide. Li Si felt dizzy just looking at them; how many bites could they even eat? Also, having hog-slaughter dishes with red wine—was this a blend of the rustic and the refined?
"Right! Here, Sister Leng, this is what I should call you, right? Let's have a toast—after all, this is a fateful connection. From now on, we're practically family."
