Chapter 29 - Chapter 14: The Storm of Ruin

---

Scene 1: Clash atop the Tower

Location: Tower of London Rooftop, Midnight

From the veil of dark mist, a nightmare took form—

Noctis, one of the ancient Guardians of Shadow, emerged.

Eyes like molten blood. Skin shaped from living void.

> "You cannot contend with me, mortals," he whispered—voice like thunder behind a closed door.

Elliot stepped forward, sweat on his brow.

> "We'll see about that."

Before he could strike, Seraphine dashed forward, her silver dagger aimed straight for Noctis' heart.

Slice—

Nothing.

Her blade passed through him like he was smoke.

> "What?!"

Noctis's laughter echoed into the sky.

> "You can't kill what doesn't live. Shadow cannot be slain by mere steel."

But Elliot wasn't finished.

He raised his blade of light—burning with the force of his will.

> "Maybe we're not just mortals anymore."

He unleashed a shockwave of light straight into Noctis' core.

The guardian flinched, but quickly reformed.

> "Your defiance is… amusing."

Still, Seraphine and Elliot refused to step back.

They had fought death itself before—this time would be no different.

Scene 2: Leon vs. Umbra – The Rift Beyond

Location: The Edge of Space and Time

Leon stood alone in a void without horizon, facing Umbra.

> "So, you've tamed yourself," Umbra said, calm… almost proud.

> "I've claimed my truth," Leon answered.

His aura surged—an evolving fusion of radiant white and seething shadow, swirling in harmony.

> "This isn't a game anymore."

Umbra laughed softly, but something behind it had changed.

> "No… This is destiny."

A wave of pitch-black wind formed behind him—

a Voidstorm the size of a city.

He raised his arms.

The void surged forward—ready to erase everything in its path.

Leon extended his hands—

BOOM.

A beam of blinding light split the darkness, tearing the storm apart.

> "I won't let you consume this world!"

Umbra stepped forward, smile fading.

> "Then fall with it."

And the storm thickened again…

Scene 3: Destruction Within the Tower

Location: Crumbling Interior, Tower of London

Noctis moved like a living whisper—every blow passed through him like illusion.

He was more spirit than flesh.

> "Elliot! We need another way!" Seraphine shouted.

> "How?!"

She knelt, palm on the floor.

> "I'll seal him. You strike the final blow."

Elliot hesitated only a second—then nodded.

She began tracing a lightbinding seal—a forgotten ritual learned long ago.

Noctis sensed the magic. He lunged.

> "You think you can chain me?!"

Before he could strike—

WHOOM.

A blast of divine light slammed through the ceiling.

Leon had arrived.

> "Noctis… your time is over."

His very presence made the shadows recoil.

Leon's palms ignited with white-hot fusion energy.

> "Begone."

He unleashed a holy nova.

Noctis screamed.

The binding spell activated—Seraphine's seal glowed with sacred power, holding Noctis still.

Elliot raised his blade.

> "This ends now!"

And with a single, clean strike,

Noctis was no more.

Scene 4: The Calm Before the Final Tempest

Location: Tower of London, Collapsing Rooftop

Silence fell.

Leon lowered his hands, light fading from his palms.

Elliot wiped blood from his cheek, breathing heavy.

Seraphine stepped beside them, scanning the crimson-stained sky.

> "Umbra's not done. He's gathering everything."

Leon looked at his friends.

> "Then so will we."

A beat passed. Then Elliot smiled.

> "Welcome back, Leon. We needed you."

Leon nodded—eyes burning with the storm inside him, now controlled.

But even as they regrouped, the heavens trembled.

The stars blinked.

The winds went silent.

And far, far above them—

A red crack tore open the sky.
