As I slowly aproached the boss the notification lit up
* Defeat 10th Demon general Mal'zaer*
"It's an honor to have you as my oponent, I'll give it my all."
" Very well young one, I see you have manners at place. I'll give it my all as well."
*Flash*
Before I knew it he disapeared in front of me and in a blink of an eye apeared right behind me.
"Teleportation."
Right at that moment I teleported short distance away from him and saw the huge hole in the ground.
"I see you are very strong. Body enhancemend, sharp mind, third eye, super speed."
I buffed myself so I hope I'll be able to keep up with him a little bit.
As he made a single step I followed after him and clashed my daggers against his spear.
He swiftly turned the spear around and hitted my mana sheild.
I flew back several meters and stopped myself with burrying my daggers into the ground.
"Let's see if this can do anything. Dark press."
Before the spell hitted him Mal'zaer dodged and followed with throwing his spear at me.
I dodged at last second but my mana sheild got hit.
"Steel body!".
*Crash..boom*.
Right after buffing myself I got hit by his fist straight to the stomach and was send flying into the pillar behind me.
"This is bad. Even with my buffs I got some serious damage. High heal."
I healed myself but how long I can keep this up. Unless I do something with his speed or my shield he will defeat me.
"Let's try to fire it up. Inferno!".
Now this should give him some damage. As I waited I noticed a figure walking out of the inferno. It was Mal'zaer, red hot from the heat of my spell.
"Do you really think this can defeate me?".
"No but, physicks can. Do you know what happens with metal if you heat it up and than cool down? It expands and than shrink again.
Water fall!".
At that moment the Mal'zaer started steaming and screaching. Slowly his joints in the armor melted together and unmobilized him.
"You actually managed to stop me young one."
"It was a gamble but, I don't know what I would do if this didn't worked. Let me give you painless death."
Than I pearced his head through the visor of his armor. The armor started turning into dust as Mal'zaer faded away and revealed dark mana core. His spear stayed in the wall where he threw it before.
"Apraisal.".
*Spear of demon general..*
*Vitality+50*
*Strength+50*
*Inteligence+50*
*Element Dark*
"Now this looks like a good weapon.".
I took the spear and core and headed into the next room with chest.
As I opened another golden chest it revealed Black ring with purple jewel.
*Ring of Darkness*
*Dark element afinity+100*
*Vitality+40*
*Inteligence+40*
*Wearer aquires boost to dark element afinity*
"Now this is nice surprise. Even tho I'm not a fan of jewelry I'll make exception for this one.".
After that I proceeded to the 41st level of this dungeon. "I should rest for a while. This fight really got me.".
Now if I count properly this dungeon should have 100 levels with a boss room every 20 levels. So three bosses still await me.
After some hours of sleep I packed my stuff and continued deeper into the dungeon.
This time the monsters turned to be mix of living armor and Demihuman like monsters.
The demihumans weren't that difficult to defeat but, the living armor was something else. Even after shatering it apart it conected back together and continued to fight so I needed to use similar strategy as I used with Mal'zaer. It worked perfectly and I was able to clean up 10 levels in nearly record time "If I knew what time it is it should be record time.".
Next ten levels were same as the previous ones and I quickly made my way to the next boss room on 60th level.
"Think clearly. Easiest way to defeat someone is through simple spells and things.".
As the third doors to the boss room opened and the light spread through the room. There was nothing. "This is weird.".
As I scanned the room with mana field it screamed through the room that there are monsters everywhere in the room. I picked at least hundred signals.
Now there is only one monster that can do this and that's Wraith.
I boosted my shield with light magic and started preparing light spell to clear the room at once.
As I walked to the centre of the room I chanted the spell.
"May the god and light spirits light my path through the darkness. May the gods light lead the souls of perished thy were led astray. Grand me the power of light to defeat my enemies. Holly field".
The signals started to fade away one ofter another until only one was left.
"Oi stop hiding and show yourself wraith!".
"Looks like a promising soul entered my teritory. You will be nice gem of my collection."
The wraith started sending his minions one after another while hanging in the back.
"One, two,free,..5,10,20,30. Is this all you got.
Inferno!! Hell Flare!! I'll brun this teritory of yours to the ground until nothing is left but you!".
As I continued to thin wraiths minions he got more and more desperate.
"Imposibble!! You are just a measly little girl. You should have been already dead."
"What can I say! Sorry to dissapoint you!".
I cleared through skeletons and ghouls like nothing and it looks like he run out of minions so now he is only one left. "Let's make this quick.".
I don't really know much light spells. Hmm what about light sword. Yep that should work.
"Light saber"
*Slash*
The sword of light slashed through the wraith and gave him grave damage.
"Looks like you will be the first one to get beyond me little one.".
"So you want to tell me that no one else was able to defeat you?".
"Exactly little one. These adventurers were always going inside my teritory without checking if there is an enemy and just like that they got overwhelmed and defeated.".
"That was pretty stupid of them to just rush ahead. Well I win so I'll see what's awaiting me next.".
When the wraiths body dissapeared on the ground was left a ring.
"Apraisal".
*Ring of light spirit*
*Light element+50*
*Inteligence+50*
*Vitality+50*
*Afinity of light boosted by 20%*
I grabbed another ring and went to the room with the golden chest.
Inside was clothes made of black fire pouring from the cloth.
"Apraisal".
*Dark fire armor*
*Wearer is protected by dark flames which engulf any weapon be it sword, spear or arrow*
"Ohh now this is nice change. I'll be edgy as hell for sure with this armor."
I equiped the one piece armor and went to clear another twenty levels from 60 to 80th level. Now what was strange was that the enemies turned to be monsters like wolfes, rabbits, lions, tigers and such which didn't really made any sense as the wraith was pretty much higher level than these so there should be a lot more powerfull monsters than that.
"Something isn't right about this part of dungeon. Why are there low level monsters so deep in the dungeon?".
I cleared the 20 levels with ease but, still remained skeptical about whole thing and proceeded on high alert.
"I'll rest here for some time and eat something.".
Now every entrance to the boss room is protected by barrier so adventurers can rest there and prepare before every boss fight. No one knows the true purpose of these rooms which cannot be accesed by normal monsters but, can be by humans. Until someone finds out everyone just use this space to rest.
As I woke up from my sleep at what I hope is another day. I prepared some potions with mana and heal. "Well I have everything packed so it's time for another challenge."
As I pushed open the doors to the 80th level boss room the torches and fire lit up the room and revealed another boss.
"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRR".
This time it is legendary Chimera.
