"I thought your grandmother wasn't coming for another two weeks," Leia said, glancing at Kieran as they stood near the couch.
"Well, she surprised us," he replied with a small shrug.
Leia leaned in a little, her voice dropping to a whisper. "She sounded scary… I got chills. But even at her age, she looks so graceful."
Kieran chuckled. "Yeah, I agree."
"You should get some rest," he added warmly. "I'll come by your room in a while."
Leia gave a soft hum of acknowledgment and headed upstairs. Once inside, she shut the door behind her.
Sinking into the chair by the window, she began to swing it gently back and forth, her fingers gripping the armrests.
"Who's even spreading these ridiculous rumors about me being his Luna?" she muttered, frowning. "Can't they see I hate Lucien?
Leia yawned, stretching her arms overhead. Deciding to take a short nap, she moved toward the bed, only to be interrupted by a knock at the door.
