She looked so surprised to see me, well… I myself was shocked too when the blue haired lady who later introduced herself as Indie suddenly showed up after I was done with the weekly meeting with the council of six.
I managed not to panic because it hadn't been two months since they took Serena away, to see her come back alone was something big enough to make me panic.
However, she assured me that Serena was fine. Just that she was in need of blood urgently. Without thinking… I asked that she take me to meet Serena, I didn't mind that I was already the king which meant being in the kingdom all the time, I just wanted to go meet my woman and make sure she was safe.
"So… you just rushed here like a handsome prince who urgently needs to save his princess in distress?"
I chuckled and hugged her more tightly. "You can say that again, I can't risk seeing you hurt a strand of your hair."
