Zane's POV~
We opened the door carefully, peeking out. Alfie's head leaned slightly over mine as we scanned the living room. It was quiet. Clear.
We stepped out, moving cautiously across the floor toward the exit.
But the moment we stepped outside...
All the other Alphas were out there, talking, laughing, having fun with the various ladies and guys they'd invited over. Their relaxed chatter filled the air.
Until they saw us.
Every single one of them paused.
Cassian was the first to speak. "What's wrong with you, Boo Boo?" he asked, narrowing his eyes as he began walking toward us, his usual playfulness edged with suspicion.
"You're in the villa too, Alfie?" came Rhys's voice next. "I thought you weren't even around."
I swallowed hard, feeling the tension in the air shift.
Cassian's gaze darkened. "And why the hell are you both wearing the same outfit?"
Wait… what?
I glanced down at myself, at the oversized black shirt and grey joggers and then looked at Alfie.
