Alpha was walking through one of the narrow alleys of the royal city, his hands resting behind his head, his steps slow and unhurried.
He muttered aloud,
"This place is too quiet… No screams, no trouble, nothing worth paying attention to."
He passed by an old shop and gave the passersby a quick glance without stopping. The voices of merchants reached his ears, but he didn't care.
He came to a sudden stop at a corner and stared at a wall with some scribbled writing. He sighed.
"I'm tired of all this. Why did I agree to this in the first place?"
He kept walking and muttered as he turned into a side street,
"I'll finish this little walk, and if I don't find anything interesting, I'm going back to sleep."
Alpha continued strolling calmly through the alley until he heard a commotion coming from the right. He stopped and turned toward the noise.
There, he saw a large man with a massive sword strapped to his back, gripping a young man by the shirt with one hand.
