After being saved from a group of Demigons and Crawlers, Ilyas, Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka arrived at a mysterious village. They were confronted with weapons by several villagers.
"You'd better tell me whether you're Badrul's people or not. Or i will blow you'd fucking Brain's out."
"Calm down. We're just strangers passing through this road," Khai explained, trying to calm the situation.
"Prove us that you're not people of Badrul," said one of the villagers.
"How can we prove it if we're not involved with someone named Badrul? We don't even know who this Badrul you're talking about is," replied Agus.
"How do we know you're not lying about not knowing Badrul?" replied one of the villagers.
"Il, it's really hard to convince them. What do we do now? If we say the wrong thing, we're dead," whispered Khai.
"Let me try to talk to them."
Ilyas approached the villagers. They raised their weapons, ready to shoot.
"My name is Ilyas. The people behind me are all my companion. This is Khai, and the other three are Agus, Raden, and Raka. I'm from Serendah, Khai is from Antara Gapi, and those three are from Indonesia..."
"… We're just passing through this area to find a place to rest and gather some food. We don't know who this Badrul you're talking about is, but we're not his members."
The villagers, who had initially pointed their weapons at them, slowly lowered their weapons, except for one person who appeared to be their leader.
A man, 26 years old, with jet-black hair and a fierce expression, still pointed his weapon at the five of them. He didn't believe what Ilyas had said.
"Samar, they've already said they're not members of Badrul's gang. Why don't you lower your weapon?"
"Are you crazy? You believe what they're saying? Suddenly they show up with a bunch of monsters. Don't you remember that Badrul has strange powers, just like Badang? I'm not taking any risks that could endanger everyone here!"
Hearing that, Ilyas remembered something.
"Badang? Badrul? Ah… I think I know who he's talking about."
"Leave this place. I don't want you bringing disaster here," said Samar.
"Okay, we'll leave. But can you tell us if there's anywhere we can rest?" asked Khai.
"That's your problem. We're not getting involved in your affairs," replied Samar.
The villagers couldn't bear to see Ilyas, Khai, and the others being driven out of the village.
However, they also couldn't do anything because they were afraid something might happen in the village due to the five of them.
Suddenly, Luna woke up and started crying in Khai's arms. The villagers, who hadn't noticed Luna before, were shocked to see a baby still alive after the Armageddon event.
Ilyas tried to calm Luna down. Seeing this, the villagers agreed to allow Ilyas and the others to stay temporarily in the village.
"Samar, Just let them stay here for a while."
"Why are you all letting strangers stay here? Aren't you afraid they'll cause trouble?" said Samar.
"Samar, enough already. Are you really going to force them to leave and go somewhere full of monsters? Don't you feel sorry for the baby?!" replied one of the villagers.
"Oh, it's all because of that baby, huh? That's why you've become soft like this?" said Samar.
Samar approached Ilyas and pointed his weapon directly at Ilyas' head.
"Hey kid, give me the baby and get out of here. If not, I'll blow your head off," threatened Samar.
"Hey, what do you think you're..."
"Shut up, I'm not talking to you. Listen here, I want to settle this calmly without any bloodshed..."
"... Give me that baby, and you can leave this place. I don't care if you die or whatever. The important thing is that you get the hell out of here."
"The mother of this baby entrusted me to keep the baby safe." said Ilyas.
"Heh, entrusted, huh? So you want to test my patience, huh?"
The villagers told Samar to stop threatening Ilyas, but he ignored them.
"Let me change what I said earlier. Give me the baby, or I'll blow all your heads off, including the baby's," said Samar.
Hearing that made Khai angry, and he was about to strike Samar, but he was stopped by Agus.
Agus told Khai not to approach them. Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka watched as Ilyas clenched his fist so tightly that it started to bleed.
"Repeat what you just said," challenged Ilyas.
"Oh, now you're pretending to be deaf, huh? Give me the baby. If not, I'll blow all your heads off, including the baby's...!"
Ilyas moved his head closer to the barrel of the gun that Samar was holding.
"Shoot then. I want to see if you're have a balls to do it," challenged Ilyas.
Everyone, including Samar, who witnessed this, was shocked.
"Heh, you think I'm scared?" said Samar.
Although Samar said that, his hand trembled, unsure whether to shoot Ilyas.
"So, why aren't you shooting yet?" said Ilyas.
"Don't challenge me..."
"Hurry up and shoot. I'm tired of waiting," replied Ilyas.
Khai, who was watching, didn't know what Ilyas was planning. Even though he knew Ilyas was very strong, what they were facing was a gun.
"What are you waiting for..."
"… Shoot me, bitch."
Under pressure from Ilyas, Samar accidentally pulled the trigger, causing a bullet to shoot out at 400 m/s, heading straight for Ilyas' head.
However, before the bullet could leave the barrel, Ilyas gripped the gun's muzzle and stopped the bullet from coming out.
Everyone who witnessed this was left speechless. They had just seen something impossible for a human to do.
Samar, seeing this, felt afraid and released his grip on the gun, which was now in Ilyas' hand.
Ilyas crushed the gun with just a single grip, effortlessly, making those who witnessed it feel afraid.
"I don't care if you want to kill me. But if you try to shoot my daughter, I won't hesitate to kill you and everyone in your village," said Ilyas, staring at Samar with an empty expression and a threatening tone.
"That enough!"
An elderly man, 51 years old, accompanied by a 26-year-old man, walked toward Ilyas and the others.
"Chief,"
"I, on behalf of Samar, would like to apologize to all of you for greeting you so poorly..."
"…My name is Tok Hussein, The village chief of rock village..."
"…And this is my son, Badang."
"Greetings," said Badang, welcoming Ilyas and the others.
"Once again, I apologize for causing an unnecessary commotion," said Tok Hussein.
Ilyas told Tok Hussein not to worry about it, as Samar's behavior made sense, considering the world was no longer safe and people were starting to show their evil sides.
"You all should find a place to rest. Come, follow me, I'll take you to a place where you can stay for a while."
Ilyas, Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka followed Tok Hussein to a hall within the village.
Inside, they saw many people who had made the place their temporary home.
Tok Hussein explained that everyone inside the hall were people who had been rescued during the Armageddon.
The five of them set up a tent inside the hall and decided to stay there for one night.
"Il, why did you call Luna your daughter?" asked Khai.
"It just slipped out."
"Ooh, you've gotten really attached to Luna, aren't ya," teased Khai.
Evening approached. Two guy named Atan and Abu brought some food into the hall.
"Dinner time!" said Atan.
People started lining up to get their food, except for Ilyas, Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka. They had enough food supplies to last the night.
Atan and Abu approached Ilyas' tent. They informed that Tok Hussein was calling for the five of them to meet him at his house.
The five of them went to Tok Hussein's house, bringing Luna along because they were worried something might happen to her if she was left alone in the tent.
They arrived at Tok Hussein's house. Tok Hussein invited them to come up.
"Atan, Abu. You two are on patrol duty tonight," said Tok Hussein.
"Understood."
The two of them left to begin their patrol. Ilyas simply watched Abu, as if he sensed something about him.
The five of them entered Tok Hussein's house and were served a glass of tea by Mak Sari, Tok Hussein's wife.
After drinking the tea, Tok Hussein began asking them a few questions.
"Even though I heard what you said earlier this morning, I just want to make sure. What is your purpose for coming to this village?" asked Tok Hussein.
"Our real destination wasn't this village. We didn't even know there was a village here..."
"... We were just passing through, gathering some supplies. Our actual goal is to reach Tanjung Malim…"
"... While those three are heading to Sungkai," answered Ilyas.
"Where did you find the baby? I can tell you're not old enough yet to have a child of your own," asked Tok Hussein.
Ilyas explained how he and Khai had found Luna crying in the arms of her deceased mother.
Tok Hussein and Badang felt pity for Luna, knowing she had already endured so much suffering even though she wasn't even a year old yet.
While they were quietly drinking tea, Tok Hussein asked Ilyas,
"So, Ilyas."
"Yes?"
"How were you able to stop a bullet with your bare hand?"
That question also made Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka curious about how Ilyas could stop a bullet with just his hand.
"Because I'm strong," answered Ilyas.
"So you're just like Badang and Badrul, huh," said Tok Hussein.
"Just Like?" asked Khai.
"Come, follow me," said Tok Hussein.
Tok Hussein led them to the yard behind his house. There, they saw a massive rock, about the size of a banana tree.
"Badang."
"Yes,"
Badang approached the huge rock and easily lifted it. Then, he smashed the rock into pieces with a single punch.
Khai, Agus, Raden, and Raka were left wide-eyed in amazement. They never expected to see someone as strong as Ilyas.
"So, Ilyas. Are you the same as Badang?" asked Tok Hussein.
