Leo wiped his mouth with the table napkin when he was done with his dinner. Only then did he casually bring up the topic of meeting his grandfather, "My grandfather got to know of your existence today. He would like to invite the three of you to our family home. What are your thoughts on this?"
Zoey's heart skipped a beat as she looked deep into Leo's eyes, "You've already agreed?"
"No." Leo chuckled, "After the incident over the kindergarten, do you really think I would still dare to make decisions on your behalf?"
Zoey relaxed a little at Leo's reply. Turning to her kids, she asked, "Kayden, Kayla, what do you think?"
Old Mr. Yancey was bound to try all means to meet the twins and so, she thought it might be better to meet him on her terms instead of being caught unprepared or in unpleasant circumstances.
The twins answered in unison, "We'll go with whatever your decision is, Mommy."
