"Who said no Andersons dare to bully me? Your mother did bully me!"
This should be an example of natural hostility between a woman and her daughter-in-law.
Hilla covered her lips and sobbed. She kept sobbing aggrievedly without looking at Bruce.
Bruce pursed his lips and comforted her in a low voice, "What do you want to do?"
He would never scold his mother for Hilla's sake.
"She won't let me go out now. What should I do now? It's all your fault."
Orlenna did it because she had misunderstood Hilla.
Bruce let out a sigh. "She just said it out of anger. She won't make things difficult for you in a couple of days."
He understood his mother well. Orlenna didn't mean what she said when she was angry. After she figured it out, she would still be nice with Hilla.
Hilla bit her lip and looked at him, crying, "You are siding with your mother, not me!"
