The school had just started, but before the first subject could even enter the class, another chaos occurred. A student jumped off the building because of depression—or so they said.
Most students had already lost trust in the school after that Diran cover-up. Many suspected school bullying or even murder. The victim's sister was especially adamant about making the school pay.
The only difference between the Diran incident and this one was that the new victim's parents were rich. The school couldn't just sweep the case under the rug.
"Why do I feel like everything has become a mess?" Iven felt exhausted. Stress at home, then stress at school. When will this end?
Cail was eating a snack beside him—and it was a raw lemon. Iven's face scrunched up at the sight. He even noticed that Cail seemed to be eating the peel, too.
Iven finally couldn't help but ask, "Why did you eat the peel?"
"I like the taste of zest." That was the reason why Cail loved lemons.
