"My king you don't like alcohol". Stephan said in shock.
"Well I want to drink alcohol and stop questioning me". Jonathan said calmly.
"My king but...."
"It's an order, get me alcohol losts of it". Jonathan said.
"Fine". Stephan said and left. He came later with two bottles of alcohol.
"This is small". Jonathan said as he poured the drink into the glass.
"My king these two bottles is too much for you, are you sure you are okay". Stephan said worriedly.
"I am". Jonathan said as he took a sip.
"My king why are you smiling". Stephan said.
"This alcohol is really amazing, I haven't tasted any alcohol as good as this". Jonathan said smiling as he drank it in one gulp.
"My king, you should take things easy". Stephan said.
"You should take things easy as well". Jonathan said as he refilled the glass.
"My king, you have been behaving strangely ever since you came back to life, but drinking is not the best...."
"Stop nagging me okay if you have nothing better to say just leave". Jonathan said with irritation.
"My king am sorry". Stephan said in a bow. By the time Jonathan finished the two bottles he was already drunk, Stephan dragged him to the bed and he slept off.
I woke up feeling much better and energetic. I had my bathe, got dressed and left the room. I was about to enter the dining hall when lily stopped me.
"Greetings my queen". She said in a bow.
"Greetings".I said hurriedly.
"My queen I was about to bring your food". She said.
"Lily don't stop me again for no good reason".I said and entered the hall.
"Welcome the queen".the spokesman yelled and they all stood.
"Greetings everyone".I said as I sat down and they said nothing.
"Greetings my queen,how are you feeling now".prince Humphrey said as he entered.
"I am better thank you".I said smiling.
"Honour the king today at least".lady Isabelle said.
"What do you mean".I said.
"Wait for the king to come, before you eat today don't be rude all the time". lady Isabelle said.
"I am not in the mood to argue and so i will wait".I said calmly.
Jonathan woke up feeling dizzy coupled with a bad headache.
"Greetings my king are you alright". Stephan said.he was standing beside the king.
"I feel so dizzy".he managed to say.
"My king this is lemon water, it will help you".he said as he gave him the glass.
"Thanks man". Jonathan said and drank it in one go.
"My king I told you not to drink but you refused".he said as he collected the glass.
"Can you stop nagging me so early". Jonathan complained.
"My king you need to get ready, the family are waiting downstairs for you". Stephan said.
"I need to sleep more". Jonathan said weakly.
"My king please get ready,they cannot eat without you being present". Stephan said.
"fine". Jonathan said as he stood up.
"Thank you my king". Stephan said in a bow.
I was trying to control my anger,we had been waiting for too long and I was literally fed up.
"Welcome the king".the spokeman said as Nathan entered.
"Greetings my king". everyone said as they stood up.I intentionally sat down.
"Greetings".he grumbled as he sat down and they all sat as well.
"How dare you disrespect the king in his presence".lady Isabelle said.as the servants began to serve the food.
"What's wrong with you, how can you keep us waiting for so long".I said while glaring at nathan, something seemed very off about him, first his hairstyle, his attire and his attitude.
"Can you stop nagging me".he said weakly.
"You made us wait for you, while you were upstairs sleeping....."
"You make me sick with your words, I am trying to recover from my headache". He said angrily.
"Did you drink".I said while staring at his face.
"How is it your business".he said anxiously.
"Nonsense why are you trying to defame the king, my son is no alcoholic".Lady Isabelle said defensively.
"Can we just eat in peace".milan said.
"Yes". Jonathan nodded in agreement.
"I will deal with you later".I said angrily.
"This is really nice wow". Jonathan said happily. he had never tasted any food as sweet as this.everything was new and different to him.
"How dare you bring this filthy thing to the table".lady Isabelle said as I opened the tray of chicken.The royal family were strictly vegetarians so I had to eat meat in secret, but I was done hiding.
"This is totally wrong, what's the meaning of this". Prince clayford said in disgust.
"It's unacceptable". prince martins said as I served myself.
"I want some". Jonathan said while staring hungrily at my plate.
"Really".I said in shock.
"Ofcourse,I mean who doesn't eat meat".He said smiling and I served him.
"This is so nice". Jonathan said as he took a bite.
"My king what has come over you, are you possessed".lady Isabelle said angrily as she stood up.
"Watch your tongue".I said as glared at her.
"Have you lost your senses Nathan".lady Isabelle yelled.
"You won't speak to me in that tone,if you can't stand this leave". Jonathan said angrily.
"My king that's no way to speak to our mother". prince clayford said.
"She should behave herself, it's too early for this drama,I can't deal with this". Jonathan said with irritation then he stood up and left.
"Are you happy now".milan said.
"You are really selfish and wicked".Lady Isabelle said angrily.
"But what's wrong with the king he seems very different". prince clayford said.
"I agree, he has a very cold stare I get goosebumps whenever he looks at me". Prince martins said.
"The king has changed and I like it honestly".prince Humphrey said smiling
"If you have nothing to say just shut up". martins yelled angrily.
"I will speak to him to know what the problem is".milan said reassuringly.
"I doubt he will listen you". lady Iouise said.
"What do you mean".lady lydia said.
"It's best if the queen ariadne speaks to him, the king isn't himself who knows what he will do". Louise said.
"I will go and speak to him".milan said and left.
"Why is everyone in this house problematic". Jonathan said as entered his room.
"My king I don't follow". Stephan said.
"They are always choking me with their words,I honestly can't stay here anymore". Jonathan said as he sat weakly on the bed.
"My king please calm down". Stephan.
"I just want to leave this hell hole". Jonathan said.
"Greetings my king". Milan said in a bow as she entered.
"Why didn't you lock the door". Jonathan said rudely.
"Please stephan excuse us".Milan said in shock.nathan had never been so rude to her.
"What do you want". Jonathan said as Stephan left.
"Nathan i missed you".she said smiling. She wanted to hug him but he stopped her.
"Don't come close, speak quickly". Jonathan said.
"Nathan if you are going through anything please tell me,I am your wife you shouldn't be treating me like this". she cried.
"Look I need time and space,just leave". he said.
"Nathan my love".she said as touched him quickly then he pushed her and she fell down.
"Leave".He yelled angrily as he ran into the closet.
