Le Tong was taken aback for a moment, not expecting such a certain matter to take a dramatic turn. She glanced at the police officer, her hands resting on her knees clenching into fists.
"You bitch, beg me! Beg me and I'll spare you!"
The man yelled arrogantly, holding a towel against the wound on his head. Some of the blood had been wiped from his face, but the mottled blood stains remained on his face, making him look increasingly sinister and nauseating.
Le Tong glared at him fiercely and took out her phone, saying to the officer, "Sir, I'll call a friend."
Le Tong wasn't an innocent little girl, and from the brief exchange of glances between the two officers, she understood that the big shot mentioned by the vile man was someone the officers were wary of.
Going head-to-head with them was tantamount to throwing eggs against stones.
The officer nodded, gesturing with his eyes for her to step aside to make the call.
