Chapter 107 - The Death of the Evil Demon Whale

Blood stained the surrounding seawater as the massive figure of the Abyssal Whale finally began to falter. The arrogance and ferocity in its eyes gradually faded, replaced by disbelief and unwillingness.

It let out one final mournful cry before slowly sinking into the depths of the ocean. Its enormous body gradually disappeared into the darkness, leaving only ripples on the surface, telling the tale of the fierce battle.

With the battle over, the sea returned to its usual calm. Only a gentle breeze brushed across the water, creating small ripples.

Xiao Chong and Hai Yuan stood facing each other, their eyes meeting, each able to read the joy of victory and the unspoken bond between comrades in the other's gaze.

"Well done, Xiao Chong" Hai Yuan spoke first, his tone carrying a hint of relief but more so an anticipation for the future.

"This battle proved our strength."

Xiao Chong smiled faintly, his expression a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction.

As the massive body of the Demon Whale King slowly sank into the depths, a strange energy wave emanated from its body.

Then, one after another, panicked figures stumbled out from the whale's enormous mouth—creatures of the sea that had been swallowed by it, now finally seeing the light of day once more.

"We're free! We're free!"

The fish leaped and danced in the water, dolphins cried out joyfully as if celebrating their rebirth, and sea turtles swam slowly, their eyes filled with gratitude.

They circled around Xiao Chong, Hai Yuan, and Zi Yan, forming swirling vortices, as if nature itself was paying its sincerest tribute.

Zi Yan spun gracefully in the water, her hair drifting like seaweed, her gaze both gentle and powerful.

"Seeing them safe and sound is more precious than any treasure" she said softly, waving her hands gently. A soft light spread out, healing the injured sea creatures.

"We only did what we had to" Hai Yuan remarked, his deep voice echoing across the sea that had just endured calamity.

"But this victory belongs to each of us."

Xiao Chong looked at this harmonious scene, a sense of unprecedented achievement welling up in his heart. He cast grateful glances at Zi Yan and Hai Yuan.

"Without you, I couldn't have done this alone. Our team is our greatest strength."

As everyone basked in this hard-earned peace, a large dolphin, its body covered in shimmering pearls, swam closer. Its eyes sparkled with wisdom, as if it could see into the hearts of men.

"Noble warriors," the Pearl Dolphin spoke, its voice carried clearly through the water, "I am the guardian of this sea, the Pearl Lord. You have not only saved my people but also rid all living beings of a long-standing nightmare. Please accept our deepest respect and gratitude."

From the pod of dolphins, a small dolphin mustered the courage to swim up to Xiao Chong, gently touching his palm with its smooth forehead. At that moment, a warm energy flowed between them, a pure trust and friendship.

"We will forever remember your names," the Pearl Lord continued. "May we stand together again when darkness once again shrouds the sea."

Upon hearing this, Ziyan smile deepened.

"Friends of the ocean, may peace endure forever. But if that day ever comes, do not forget to call upon us."

Haiyuan clapped his hands, signaling everyone to gather.

"Now, let us celebrate! Celebrate new life, celebrate victory!"

As the sun set, its golden rays bathed the sea, and a spontaneous celebration organized by the marine creatures quietly unfolded.

The coral reefs were adorned with glowing seaweed of various colors, while starfish and shellfish danced joyfully. Xiao Chong, Haiyuan, and Ziyan were surrounded by enthusiastic ocean dwellers, basking in this rare moment of joy and tranquility.

Behind the shimmering pearl curtains of the Sea Clan palace, Princess Lia laughter, as refreshing as a clear spring, echoed through every corner of the palace.

"It's truly gone! The shadow that has loomed over our hearts for so long has finally dissipated!" Her eyes sparkled with a light never seen before, a joy born of rekindled hope.

One of the three elders, the wise and benevolent Elder Eld, whose bearded face rarely showed emotion, now wore a childlike smile.

"It's true, Princess Lia. The future of the Sea Clan is once again filled with light." He gently patted his equally excited companions, as if the air itself was filled with a sense of relief.

Another elder, the brave and fearless Elder Gar, stood tall, his voice resolute.

"Now is the time to strengthen our defenses, to ensure such a threat never returns. At the same time, we must explore new seas, seek more allies, and spread the glory of the Sea Clan across the seven oceans."

The last of the elders, the gentle Elder Siren, softly caressed a string of aquamarine necklaces hanging from her chest, her eyes filled with visions of the future.

"And let us rebuild the bridges of friendship with the land races, just as in the ancient legends, to jointly protect the balance of this world."

Lia nodded, her decisions always commanding the support of all.

"Then, starting tomorrow, we will hold a celebration the likes of which the Sea Clan has not seen in a millennium, inviting every friend from the ocean, including those from the land, to celebrate this historic moment." Her words carried an undeniable force, the charisma of a true leader.

As everyone was immersed in joy, a soldier clad in fish-scale armor hurried into the grand hall, kneeling and urgently reporting.

"Princess, the guardian beast of the northern deep sea, the Ice Blue Whale, has sent an urgent message. It has detected abnormal energy fluctuations in the far north, and it seems an unknown presence is quietly awakening."

At these words, silence fell over the palace. Lia brow furrowed slightly, but her eyes grew even more determined.

"The unknown always brings both opportunities and challenges. This time, the Sea Clan will take the initiative to unravel the mystery. Elder Gar, lead a team of elites and investigate immediately."

"Elder Siren, while preparing for the celebration, also reach out to the envoys from the land. Elder Eld, we need your wisdom to chart the course for this unknown journey. As for me, I will also go to the front lines, for the future of the Sea Clan is something we must all protect together."

With that, Lia turned to gaze out the window at the vast expanse of blue, her heart surging with an unprecedented sense of grandeur.

"People of the sea, prepare to welcome a new dawn!"

In the depths of the abyss, faint glimmers of light flickered, as if concealing ancient secrets.

Xiao Chong and Zi Yan stood at the entrance to the abyss, surrounded by a forest of coral in vibrant hues, yet unable to mask the mysterious aura emanating from the path leading into the unknown.

"This is as far as you go, Xiao Chong, Zi Yan. I'm off."
