Su Jinxiu is well aware of who Zhao Yingjun really is. After all, she was never quite the upright person in their relationship. Now, seeing the way her husband looks at a young girl, Su Jinxiu's heart clenches tightly.
She doesn't let it show for now, and with one hand holding her waist, she walks over with a smile: "You're here, Miao Miao."
Su Miao goes up to greet them: "Auntie, Uncle! Dad and mom asked me to come and check on you both. Is this a bad time?"
"Not at all, come on in and let's talk," Zhao Yingjun squints his eyes, the crow's feet at the corners showing clearly.
Su Miao was worried her uninvited arrival might be unwelcome, but seeing Uncle wasn't angry at all, she finally felt relieved.
He even took her luggage himself, earning her genuine gratitude.
"Sorry for the trouble, Uncle."
Zhao Yingjun laughs, "Aren't you starving? How about trying your uncle's cooking later? I'll make you some wontons!"
