The manor would have served dinner even to the human members of Psi Saint Alpha if it hadn't involved them coming inside the dining hall. Since the bus had already left, Len and Claude proceeded inside to join the others for dinner. They couldn't start without the Alpha, but what was a short delay for everyone who had a full tummy during the trip?
Claude didn't realize that the wolf pack was a little behind in the times. When he got to the dining hall, he quickly covered his nose. The powerful smell of raw meat flooded his nose. He did consume raw fish and beef, but he always cooked his chicken and pork. Right now, everything was fresh and bloody.
Blood served as the sauce for almost every platter on the table. Some younger wolves salivated at it, but the older ones only cringed at the sight.
