From the crowd, Claude caught the moment Len wolfed out. However, he didn't stop the other person. He just wished Len wouldn't get too hurt. When the offenders fled, he sighed in relief. He would walk to check up on Len, but he felt someone grab his sleeve.
He turned to the side and saw Courtney staring straight at the front yard in fear. She bit her lip and fearfully turned to him. "You'll… help him when Lord Caius seeks redress, won't you?"
"Of course. I'm partly at fault." Claude nodded and looked at the scared faces of the younger wolves. They probably knew the heights of Len's power, making them fearful. Moreover, Len was at the school most of the time. What if those older wolves killed their families while they were away?
Charles and Len reached the watching crowd. Upon noticing the Beta wolf approaching him, the old man pulled a long face. "I would have rang the doorbell and asked, but I felt my grandson's terror. Are you turning me away now?"
