A yawn and a heavy step echoed in the hallway. Eugene was too tired and sleepy to be moving about on his own. He just spent the night helping out with the reception's last-minute changes. The ending went without a hitch, but Eugene was dragged to the reception he helped fix. That was why he didn't get to sleep in the inn like he planned.
The place they got for themselves was only three-star, but it was the best Hatter's Town could offer. Also, the town didn't have many strangers coming in. They were already lucky that there was an inn to book. Otherwise, they would have to crash in a stranger's home for rent.
