Honestly, this combo is pretty powerful on the field. Just before the Archlord wipes the board, a chain with "Balance of Judgment" is activated, and before the explosion, Shimizu even uses Kira's field to draw a bunch of cards, quickly reloading his hand.
Then, right after the draw, a storm sweeps the field. Four sheep are destroyed in turn, and the set monster card is also shattered, briefly revealing a sinister red canine creature before its body is pierced and shattered as it leaves the field.
"The monster you destroyed was 'Doomdog Octhros'," Kira said. "When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can add a Level 8 Fiend monster from my deck to my hand."
President Shimizu frowned.
Level 8 Fiend? What's that supposed to be?
"I'll add a Level 8 Fiend from my deck..."
Kira revealed the card he fetched.
"'Lava Golem' is added to my hand."
President Shimizu: "NANI!?"
He happened to witness President Seika being tormented by this Level 8 beast in the past and laughed at the time, so of course he remembers this card.
Why does your big boss monster even have a searcher!?
President Shimizu started to sweat.
But he quickly calmed down.
Stay cool. Lava Golem needs to eat two monsters from the opponent's field to be summoned, so as long as he keeps only one monster on the field, it'll be stuck in Kira's hand.
He only had Archlord on the field, so Lava Golem shouldn't be able to come out.
And with the opponent's field cleared, it's a perfect chance to attack!

"Field Spell 'Sanctuary in the Sky' effect," President Shimizu said. "As long as it's on the field, all battle damage to me from Fairy monsters becomes zero.
'Archlord Zerato' is a Fairy, and the Dimension Wall's reflected damage is still battle damage, so I take no damage."
The onlookers finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Thank goodness. As expected of the president—even such a nasty move was blocked.
The president was their greatest confidence. Even among the second-years, Shimizu was one of the strongest; that's why their club had survived till now.
"My turn is over," President Shimizu declared. "Do you see? This is our burning obsession. This clubroom is our sanctuary! No one can take it away!"

Kira silently snarked as his turn began.
"My turn, draw." Kira said, "Since your Archlord wiped the field last turn, I have no monsters now.
So I activate 'Card of Adversity' from my hand. If your opponent controls a Special Summoned monster and you have none, draw two cards." (anime card)
Kira calmly drew two cards.
President Shimizu narrowed his eyes, staying alert.
The only card in his opponent's hand that he know is Lava Golem, but it can only be summoned by tributing two monsters, so he shouldn't have to worry for now.
"I activate 'The Shallow Grave' from my hand. Each player selects a monster in their graveyard and Special Summons it in defense position." (original effect)
A spell card that appeared in the GX anime, but was changed to revive monsters in face-down defense position in the real game.
President Shimizu's expression twisted: "NANI!?"
He almost spat blood. Wait, why are you helping me summon a monster!?
Annoyed, he silently picked a card from his graveyard.
"I revive 'Shadow Tamer'."

A round mechanical head with a giant single eye, a metal crossbow in front—creepy. You could tell from the art it was one of Marik's monsters.
President Shimizu already realized what was coming, but was powerless to stop it, watching helplessly as his beloved monsters were abused.
"I tribute President Shimizu's 'Archlord Zerato' and 'Shadow Tamer'! Special Summon this powerful monster to President Shimizu's field!"
Kira, as expected, revealed the big boy.
"Awakened from the abyss of lava, with the power of destruction and rebirth—
—Level 8, Lava Golem!"
The Archlord and the poor whip queen both melt in the lava, and the blazing demon surges up. The big fellow smokes, eyes hollow, as if a twisted iron cage under high heat traps Shimizu inside.

President Shimizu clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and unconsciously looked up—only to meet the blank stare of the lava-covered golem.
It almost seemed to be smiling at him.

"Next, activate 'Card of Burial Magic'," Kira continued. "By banishing three Spell Cards from the graveyard, draw two cards." (original card)

"I banish 'The Shallow Grave', 'Scapegoat', and 'Graceful Charity' from my graveyard to draw two cards."
After drawing, a slight smile crept onto his face.
His smiled—President Shimizu's heart skipped a beat.
Shimizu had a sense of foreboding.
"Since I summoned Lava Golem this turn, I can't normal summon," Kira shrugged. "So, I set three cards and end my turn."
Another three set cards...
President Shimizu took a deep breath.
Who knows what's coming next?
But for the sake of their club, for its survival, even if he knows it's hell, he must press on.
"My turn, draw!"
"At this moment, Lava Golem's effect activates," Kira said. "During the controller's standby phase, take 1000 damage."
"Ugh!"
