Due to difficult family circumstances, he leads a lonely life and has no close friends. With unremarkable black hair and an average appearance, he rarely draws attention. However, everything changes when he is suddenly transmigrated into the body of a deceased noble, Aether Von Noctvain in a distant world. Aether died while attempting to wield a cursed sword, and Naoki awakens in his body at the age of thirteen, inheriting a life of prestige, danger, and buried legacies.

Haruto Tsukihana is Naoki's older brother and a pivotal figure in his journey. Years before the story begins, Haruto was transported to another world, where he was granted the power to regress infinitely upon death. Over the course of 769 lifetimes, he became a legend feared and revered as Julius von Legolant, the Heaven Conqueror. His final great act was relocating the Sealed Continent from Earth and anchoring it to a distant planet, which he named Eloria. Though Haruto has long lived and died beyond Earth's reach, his legacy, guidance, and final sacrifice become the foundation upon which Naoki's fate begins to unfold.

Lyra is a gentle-hearted six-year-old girl with short black hair, pale white skin, and striking green eyes. She is the beloved younger sister of Aether and shares an uncanny resemblance to Naoki's late sister, Milly Tsukihana, who passed away at the age of eleven after falling from a balcony on Earth. Despite her young age, Lyra's love for her big brother Aether is deep and unwavering.
