Chapter 804 - Krosus

The combined armies of various forces in Azeroth, working together with a surprising lack of infighting, quickly conquered the core of the Black City with overwhelming force! It was less a strategic victory and more a very enthusiastic, very violent mob taking over. This "core" turned out to be a truly gigantic, glowing evil magma lake. The surrounding area was eerily quiet, not a single demon in sight. Not even a tiny imp.

"This is not normal! Where's the welcoming committee?!" Baine Bloodhoof grumbled, hunching over and cautiously climbing to the very edge of the lava lake, trying to get a clear view of the entire bubbling, malevolent surface.

"CAREFFUL!" A loud, booming shout echoed from the other side of the lava lake, and Baine, surprised, recognized it as the voice of his old friend, Varian Wrynn.

Following Varian's warning, the little Tauren Chief's heart did a surprisingly nimble little skip-jump. He instinctively exerted strength from his mighty waist, and his two thick bull hooves bounced heavily, launching him into the air, instantly vacating his previous, very precarious position.

SNAP!

Just as Baine leaped, a truly gigantic, molten palm slammed into the exact spot where he had been standing moments before, leaving a smoking, hand-shaped crater. At the same time, everyone saw clearly what it was: a truly enormous demon. It was a demon they had never seen before, a horrifying, pulsating fusion of eredar and raw magma. If Galen had been present, he would have cheerfully explained to everyone that this was Krosus, the only doomsday overlord currently known to the Burning Legion! He is one of the largest and most powerful creatures in the Burning Legion's army, a horrific synthesis of multiple demonic races. The fact that he could guard this place alone meant he was ridiculously powerful.

"This is a demigod-level demon, everyone! Be careful! And try not to get stepped on!" Aegwynn shouted, waving her staff and launching the attack first! A burst of white and red frost fire, a beautiful, deadly explosion of magic, shot out and slammed into the Doomsday Overlord right in his ugly, magma-scarred face!

"ROAR! HOW DARE YOU EXIST!" Krosus, who was basically a living, angry mud puddle, roared in pure fury. "How dare you go against the Legion, you insignificant ants! FEEL THE FEAR! AND THEN GET SQUASHED!" The huge demon opened its mouth, which looked suspiciously like a volcano, and spewed out hot, yellow magma mixed with noxious steam directly towards Aegwynn!

"Kill him! We have to keep moving forward! We're on a schedule!" Shandris Feathermoon yelled, putting her hands in a prayer gesture: "Elune, please give me strength! And maybe a very large, very sharp arrow!" As Shandris spoke, a glorious ray of silver moonlight pierced through the thick clouds in the sky, revealing the bright, serene moon above!

"Demon, repent in the glorious power of Elune! Or just get hit really, really hard!" Under the guidance of Shandris, the moonlight, a laser of pure celestial fury, cut through the sky and slammed into the doomsday overlord in the magma with lightning speed!

"ARGH! ANTS! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DIE QUIETLY?!" Krosus's chest was dented by the moonlight cannon, and he couldn't help but let out a scream that vibrated the very air. But he was a fusion of demons after all, a walking, angry horror, and his vitality was quite strong, so he surprisingly withstood Elune's attack. However, this moonlight cannon was not so easy to just shrug off. He immediately sank his massive body deeper into the magma, absorbing the evil energy in the magma to quickly repair the truly impressive injury on his chest!

Alliance Teamwork: A Symphony of Pain

BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!

The coalition forces, seeing their moment, seized the opportunity and attacked him while he was weak and busy regenerating. They threw all kinds of skills, spells, and magic arrows into the lava without hesitation, turning the magma lake into a bubbling cauldron of explosions. Among them, Aegwynn in the west was the most gorgeous, with high-level spells such as Frostfire being cast almost instantly, a dazzling display of magical might. On the eastern side, Jaina Proudmoore was the most dazzling, with purple arcane missiles screaming from her fingertips like an endless, magical barrage, turning the air into a vibrant, deadly light show.

WHOOSH!

After recovering from most of his injuries under the sustained, annoying attack, Krosus broke through the lava again, thrusting most of his enormous body out, clearly annoyed. However, he did not approach the west this time; he was clearly afraid of being hit by another Moonlight Cannon from the True God.

"He went to your side, Varian! Get ready for a very large, very angry visitor!" Baine yelled across the fiery expanse.

"Let him come! I've been waiting for this!" Varian roared, cracking his two-handed sword, Shalamayne. "Let's go! Let our allies in the west see how we kill demons! With style! And brute force!"
