The Web Walker loomed above them, its eight massive legs each as thick as tree trunks, covered in crystalline scales that caught and refracted light into prismatic patterns. Where a spider's abdomen should be, translucent sacs hung like grotesque fruit, containing the slowly dissolving remains of spirits caught in its web over the centuries. Its human-like head was stretched and distorted, multiple eyes arranged in complex geometric patterns across its face.
Around the edges of the clearing, movement caught their attention. Other creatures emerged from the depths of the domain, smaller versions of the Web Walker, each about the size of a horse, their crystalline legs clicking against the ground in synchronized patterns. Behind them came stranger entities: corrupted spirits that had chosen servitude over dissolution, their forms twisted into useful shapes for their master's purposes.
