Jayden left Old Texas with a series of troubling thoughts in his mind. Lydia had said that, but she didn't even reveal who she was actually referring to.
She had literally decided not to tell him, wanting him to see for himself, and this had made Jayden feel quite uneasy.
They went straight to the café with the DEA officers for the experiment. The plan now was to make a new drink by adding the Amber Bloom while the officers watched.
Jayden and Melinda had no issues with that, because that was definitely what Mel had been doing... Now it didn't look frightening anymore...
Reece and the others spotted them immediately as they approached from the backdoor, since the crowd was tense in the compound.
"Mel, are you okay?" Reece rushed to her with a plain look of concern.
"Yeah, I am. Don't worry," Melinda smiled at him before moving forward to the preparatory room.
