-3rd person pov-

It had been 10 long, transformative months—months filled with grit, sweat, and silent determination.

The once cluttered and trash-ridden Takoba Municipal Beach Park now stood pristine under the rising sun. Deku, his body now leaner, more muscular, and visibly stronger, wiped the sweat from his brow as he looked over his work with pride. The weight of discarded appliances and endless debris had built not only his strength but his resolve.

During those months, Lana and Nala had become familiar presences in his life. Living just across the hall, they'd bonded over shared meals, casual conversations, and light sparring matches in secret. He had learned about their "quirks":

Lana's quirk allowed her to manipulate her silver hair like living metal, hard as steel yet flexible like rope. She could shape it into blades, shields, or even a web of tendrils.

Nala's quirk manifested as a mechanical-looking backpack permanently fused to her back, capable of producing all types of specialized bombs—smoke bombs, flashbangs, concussive grenades, and even sticky foam explosives.

They were quirky and strange in their own ways, but to Deku, they were friends—an odd but comforting constant in a life that had changed drastically since the day he met TNE.

Now, the beach was finally clean. Deku tightened his gloves, heart pounding as the realization hit him:The U.A. Entrance Exam was only hours away.

Lana and Nala had already departed earlier that morning. As the wind swept across the shoreline, Deku turned around to find All Might, in his skinny form, standing proudly with a smile that didn't need words.

Silently, All Might reached into his coat, pulling out a single strand of his golden hair, thick and brimming with power The time had come.

All Might (holding out a strand of his hair with a serious expression):"Take this and eat it. It may sound strange… but it's how you'll inherit my power."

Deku (staring at the hair with a mix of disgust and disbelief):"W-Wait… eat it? Like, actually eat it? Is there really no other way? This feels more like a prank than passing on a legendary power…"

All Might (serious but slightly amused):"Trust me, young Midoriya — it's the only way. One For All can only be passed on through DNA, and this strand of hair contains mine. Once you ingest it, the power will begin transferring to you (pauses, smiling gently)It may sound ridiculous… but becoming a true hero often starts with something you never expect."

Deku took the strand of hair from All Might's hand, hesitating only for a moment before committing. He grabbed a nearby water bottle, bracing himself. With one quick motion, he popped the hair into his mouth and immediately gulped down the water, trying to wash it down as fast as possible.

The texture hit him instantly—coarse and strange. The water helped, but not enough. He coughed hard, choking slightly as the water caught in his throat, sputtering as he struggled to catch his breath. He bent forward, wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve.

The moment passed. He stood upright, his expression serious. The power of One For All now rested inside him.

All Might (placing a hand on Deku's shoulder with a proud grin):"Great! The power should kick in within a few hours — just in time for the U.A. Entrance Exam.(He steps back, eyes gleaming with encouragement.)You've worked hard for this, young Midoriya. Now get moving — your journey to becoming a true hero starts now!"

Now carrying the weight of One For All within him, Deku left the beach with a focused determination. He summoned a compact storm cloud beneath his feet and soared across the city, wind brushing against him as he rode the cloud home. Once there, he rushed through his morning routine—shower, uniform, final check of his supplies—before darting out the door once again, cloud forming at his feet the moment he stepped onto the street.

As the towering structure of U.A. High came into view, Deku dispersed the cloud, landing smoothly to avoid drawing attention or violating any school rules. Blending in with the other applicants, he entered the building with a quiet but steady confidence.

Inside, he soon found himself seated among hundreds of students in a large exam hall. The written portion of the entrance exam began shortly after. Thanks to the months of nightly study sessions with Lana and Nala, Deku moved through the questions with ease. Within twelve minutes, he had completed the exam, reviewed his answers, and confidently turned in his paper.

An hour passed. Once everyone had finished, the proctors led the students into another auditorium-like room. There, standing at the podium with his signature energy, was the Voice Hero: Present Mic, ready to explain the next phase of the test. One by one, the examinees took their seats, the room buzzing with quiet anticipation.

Present Mic (voice booming with energy as he throws his arms wide open):"YEAHHH! What's up, U.A. candidates?! Thanks for tuning in to your favorite school DJ — the one and only Present Mic! (He spins on his heel, strikes a dramatic pose, and points at the crowd with a wink.) Now come on, let me hear ya loud and proud — EVERYBODY SAY HEEEEEY!"

Lana (with a bright smile and a cheerful spark in her voice):"Hey!"

Present Mic (pumping his fist with energy):"That's the spirit! Now, to all you examinees out there—listen up! I'm gonna give you a quick rundown on the practical exam! So tell me… Are you ready?!"

Lana (grinning with excitement, fist raised high):"Bring it on!"

Present Mic:"That's the spirit! Now, eyes front and center—pay attention to the screen behind me for the breakdown!"

As Present Mic's voice echoed through the auditorium, the massive screen behind him suddenly flickered to life. The room dimmed slightly as the image sharpened—a sprawling mock city rendered in high resolution. Buildings, alleyways, overpasses, and open streets sprawled across the display, a perfect testing ground for would-be heroes.

In the foreground of the cityscape, four large shadowed figures stood ominously. One by one, three of the silhouettes were revealed: towering mechanical constructs, each with distinct designs and features.

The first: a humanoid robot, sleek and agile—worth 1 point.

The second: a bulkier, tank-like unit with enhanced armor—worth 2 points.

The third: a towering bipedal machine with reinforced limbs and heavy plating—worth 3 points.

The fourth silhouette, however, remained concealed in mystery, its outline jagged and imposing, drawing curious glances from many in the room. A single word beneath it read: "ZERO".

Whispers began to ripple through the crowd, eyes fixed on the unknown figure, as Present Mic continued his explanation.

Present Mic (speaking into the microphone with flair):"Now originally, we were supposed to put you in different mock battlegrounds, but due to some changes, U.A. decided to toss all you wonderful candidates into one giant battlefield! Don't worry though—we made sure it's plenty big enough for this exam. Now, on to the rules! You have to beat the mock villains and gain points! There are three villain types, each one with a different point, and—"

Before Present Mic could continue his explanation, a stern-looking male candidate with sharp blue eyes and neatly combed dark blue hair stood up, adjusting his glasses with precision. Holding up the exam pamphlet, he raised his hand to speak, clearly intending to challenge something in the instructions.

Iida:"Excuse me, sir. I have a question regarding this printout. It clearly lists four types of mock villains, not three. With all due respect, if this is an error in official U.A. documentation, it's quite troubling. As aspiring heroes, we expect the highest standards from Japan's most prestigious academy—mistakes like this are unacceptable.(He then turns sharply and points at Lana.) And you, the one with silver hair—stop whispering during the orientation. If you can't take this seriously, perhaps you shouldn't be here. You're distracting everyone around you."

Nala: (glaring with clear annoyance)"First off, glasses—you're the one distracting everyone with that loud speech. Second, if you actually listened instead of showing off, you'd know Present Mic was just about to explain the fourth villain type. And lastly, telling someone to leave when they're here to become a hero? That sounds a lot like sabotage. So maybe you should reconsider your place here, four-eyes."

Iida: (eyes wide, realizing his mistake—he bows deeply)"My sincerest apologies for my shameful outburst. I let my eagerness cloud my judgment. Please, Present Mic, continue with your instructions."

Present Mic: (clears throat, voice booming with energy)"Thanks for your patience! Now, about that fourth villain type—it's worth zero points. That bad boy's just an obstacle we're tossing in your way! Originally, there'd be one per battleground, but since you're all going into a single massive arena, there'll be five of them roaming around.Think of 'em as giant hurdles. Sure, they can be taken down, but there's no score in it—so unless you're into flashy stunts or desperate for attention, I suggest ignoring them and focusing on the villains that actually rack up those sweet points!"

Iida: (bows respectfully)"Thank you very much for the clarification. Please, continue."

Present Mic:"That's all I've got for you today! I'll sign off with a little present—a sample of our school motto! (grins, throws up peace signs)Go beyond… PLUS ULTRA!"

As the candidates began boarding the buses bound for the mock battlefield, Lana and Nala's eyes briefly flickered—dilating with subtle whirs—as they scanned their surroundings with mechanical precision, silently processing and cataloging every detail. The two moved in sync, stepping onto the bus with practiced ease, indistinguishable from any other hopeful students.

Miles away, deep beneath the earth in a concealed underground lab, Eggman observed the scene through a wall of glowing monitors. His expression remained unreadable, yet every movement was calculated. Just then, a digital vortex spiraled open beside him, emitting a soft hum. From within, Sage emerged—her form stabilizing after a ten-month integration into U.A.'s systems. Without a word, she stepped forward, her presence confirming the successful infiltration. Everything was proceeding exactly as planned

Sage:"U.A. server access: completed. Integration stable. Surveillance systems online. All nodes synced to the mainframe."

Eggman (grinning):"Excellent… Let's make this exam far more interesting. Sage, prepare units R-100, codename Drill X, and R-99, codename Rapping Pumpkin. And deploy 50 C-Rank Egg Hammers for support. Dispatch them once the test begins—let's see how these future heroes handle real chaos."

Sage (flickering with digital light, voice calm):"As you command, Father."(She vanishes into a cascade of glitchy pixels.)
