Chapter 127 - The Pokemon' Rage!

Akira hadn't expected that before he could even speak, Chairman Netero and the others would voice their opinions one after another.

Now his title had inexplicably changed from [One of the World's Top Five Nen Users] to [Strongest in the World].

The original top five Nen Users all admitted they were no match for him?

Come to think of it, a few of them were decent targets for farming experience points...

He'd already harvested Chairman Netero—now he is "useless."

Linne was so old and had only just recovered. Bullying an elderly woman wasn't good.

Zeno Zoldyck could be a backup option.

He could pay to fight him once, but the experience points weren't high compared to others.

The most cost-effective targets left were Ging and Botobai.

Halfway through this thought, Akira instinctively glanced at Ging, who looked like he was about to fall asleep and the solemn-faced Botobai.

These two were experience points he needed to harvest when he had time.

What Akira didn't know was that ever since their last trip to the Ancient Labyrinth City, Ging had sworn never to fight him.

Fighting Akira was just asking for suffering.

'Strongest in the World, huh...' Pariston lips twitched slightly, his expression stiffening.

Chairman Netero and the others' stance had taken him by surprise.

It seemed his plans wouldn't come to fruition after all.

Apparently, he needed to reevaluate Akira once more—he'd still underestimated the young man capabilities.

Pariston didn't believe Chairman Netero and the others were lying, they had absolutely no reason to do so.

Which meant... This was the truth!

"With Chairman Netero endorsement, along with that of the other five great Nen Users..."

"Given Mr. Akira evident strength, there's naturally no need for any tests."

Pariston said with a warm smile, ready to move past the matter.

This time, his mischief had failed.

As an intelligent man, he knew when to yield.

Since the situation was beyond salvaging, there was no point in forcing the issue.

The smart man was ready to back down, but the not-so-smart one jumped in instead.

"What kind of joke is this? Just a few words and we're supposed to accept his strength?"

"At the very least, there should be a fight. Otherwise, who would be convinced?"

From the corner of Table 11, a bald, heavyset gangster spoke up from behind others.

Judging by his expression and tone, he was deeply dissatisfied with how easily Akira was being let through.

This man was a subordinate of Pride, one of the Ten Dons.

Whether he believed Akira wouldn't act against him or was simply trying to curry favor with Pride, no one could say.

While everyone else had fallen silent, he alone stepped forward to pick a fight.

The bald man words drew the attention of the others, their gazes filled with mixed emotions.

Some were "admiring" his audacity.

Some were "sympathizing" with what was about to befall him.

And some were simply curious about how Akira would react.

In short, most were just watching the spectacle, with very few holding any optimism for the bald man.

Seated right in front of him was the sunglasses-wearing man who had tailed Akira earlier.

Right now, the sunglasses man was overwhelmed with mixed feelings, unsure of what to say.

If there was one emotion dominating his thoughts, it was regret.

Regret for bringing this bald fool along!

Didn't he realize what kind of occasion this was? Was this someone he could afford to provoke?

This was a man who could even be called [The Strongest in the New World]!

Thud.

Thud. Thud.

A rhythmic tapping sound filled the room—Akira was lightly knocking on the table.

Silence fell instantly, leaving only the sound of his fingers against the wood.

Beside him, Chairman Netero showed no intention of speaking, instead watching the scene unfold with amusement.

Zeno quietly lifted his teacup, staring at the reflection on its surface, lost in thought.

Everyone waited.

Waited for Akira response.

Each tap of his fingers seemed to strike the bald man heart, each one carrying an oppressive weight.

Within moments, the man shiny scalp was drenched in sweat, as if he had just emerged from the sea.

He tried to speak, but his nerves rendered him voiceless.

Others sensed the shift in atmosphere and held their breaths, sharpening their focus on their surroundings.

They didn't want to get caught in the crossfire if things escalated.

What many hadn't expected was that Akira wouldn't even need to lift a finger to deal with the bald man.

"I may not be particularly strong."

"But you're in no position to question me."

As soon as the words left his lips, the tapping ceased.

In its place came a bone-chilling, terrifying aura!

"This is—!" Zeno head snapped up, his aged eyes widening in disbelief as he stared at Akira.

Behind Akira, four eerie, indistinct figures suddenly materialized!

Each one exuded an overwhelmingly dreadful presence!

They seemed to roar silently, their forms so horrifying that they were nearly impossible to look at directly—as if they embodied some unspeakable terror.

Each apparition had the power to awaken the deepest fears in those who saw them.

Endless malice erupted wildly, as if seeking to annihilate everything.

The powerful wind pressure stirred violent gusts, disrupting the previously calm atmosphere of the room.

Gengar, Tyranitar, Dragonite, and Hydreigon—four Pokemon—stood positioned at Akira left, upper-left, right, and upper-right respectively.

The auras of four S- class powerhouses rapidly filled the entire conference hall.

Under the crushing weight of their overwhelming presence, many found it difficult to even breathe!

Most of the attendees wore grim expressions, enduring immense pressure whether seated or standing.

Naturally, this did not include Chairman Netero, Menchi, and a few others.

With precise control, most of the oppressive aura converged primarily on the bald man… and Pariston!

The ever-present smile on Pariston face vanished completely as he felt the mountain-like pressure bearing down on him.

He could no longer force a grin.

'Is this… aimed at me?'

Pariston glanced sideways and noticed that those around him weren't struggling nearly as much—despite him being stronger than them.

It was clear that Akira was deliberately targeting him.

'But this is truly terrifying!'

Pariston shuddered as he observed the four monstrous figures looming behind Akira.

'There are actually four of those things?!'

'I really can't deny my age anymore'

Chairman Netero stared wide-eyed at the spectral figures behind Akira, his hand frozen mid-stroke on his beard.

Beside him, Zeno emotions remained unsettled—even with his strength, he couldn't face this aura head-on!

Outwardly, Zeno appeared composed, showing no reaction.

But a careful observer would notice the slight tremors in his hands as he held his teacup.

To others, he looked like an old man afflicted with Parkinson.

Until now, Zeno had only heard from his grandfather Maha or his son Silva about how formidable Akira was.

Only today did he truly experience Akira overwhelming power firsthand!

Adding him to the Zoldyck Family forbidden list was absolutely the right decision!

He was an existence far beyond their reach!

The simultaneous release of malice from all four Pokemons drastically worsened the atmosphere.

To Nen Users, the entire conference hall was now saturated with malevolent Aura of varying hues!

An ordinary person would be paralyzed by just one of these auras—yet there were four in total!

Even though the spectral figures remained silent, their emotions were unmistakable through their presence alone.

They were furious—enraged by their master's humiliation!

These four Pokemons alone could sweep through everyone in this room!

Only now did the others realize that Chairman Netero and the rest hadn't been exaggerating.

Akira truly was the strongest in the world!

This much was evident just from his Nen beasts.

Among the attendees were many seasoned Nen Users—well-traveled and even knowledgeable about the Dark Continent.

Yet none had ever witnessed Nen beasts of such terrifying power before!

With these Nen beasts alone, Akira was indisputably the world's strongest!

Just as everyone thought things couldn't escalate further, a new aura erupted.

A fifth presence of the same caliber!

A flicker of surprise crossed their minds—had he not summoned all his Nen beasts at once?

But when they squinted to look closer, they realized the truth.

This fifth aura was emanating from Akira himself!

Not only were his Nen beasts monstrous—his own strength was equally formidable!

Five overwhelming auras rampaged unchecked through the conference room, with Pariston and the bald man bearing the brunt of the pressure.

Pariston, still seated in his chair, managed to maintain some semblance of composure—barely.

But his ashen face clearly displayed words like "agony" and "struggle..."

As for the bald man on the other side, he had it much worse.

He first dropped to his knees, then collapsed face-first onto the floor. It looked as if an entire mountain were crushing him, leaving him completely immobilized. His face twisted into a horrifying grimace, eyes bulging as though about to burst from their sockets.

Every second felt like his body was being flattened under immense pressure.

"Fortunately" he didn't suffer for long.

Thick streams of blood began pouring from the bald man facial orifices, his aura growing fainter until it vanished entirely—marking his death.

In the next moment, the phantom shadow behind Akira disappeared and he withdrew his own aura.

The room instantly returned to its prior tranquility. Everyone present deeply savored this peaceful atmosphere, a stark contrast to the oppressive environment moments earlier.

No one spared a glance at the dead bald man. His fate was sealed, there was no need to dwell on it.

On the other side, Pariston was gasping for breath without a shred of dignity, as if he had just narrowly escaped drowning.

You call this "lack of strength"?

The others, finally catching their breath, turned their gazes toward Akira with expressions resembling severe constipation—wanting to say something but utterly speechless.

Even Botobai, one of the world's top five Nen Users, regarded Akira with lingering fear in his eyes.

'Good thing I didn't act recklessly...'

'I really shouldn't challenge Akira to a duel.'

The mere memory of those five terrifying auras sent shivers down Botobai spine. Forget facing all five at once—he doubted he could defeat even one of them in a fight.

So, the "World's Top Five Nen Users" actually refers to Akira and his four Nen beasts?

And just like that, without Akira even realizing it, another potential sparring partner slipped away.

Both Ging and Botobai had lost the nerve to fight him.

The bald man companion, a man in sunglasses, trembled violently like a leaf in a storm his shades nearly slipping off his face. He was terrified of ending up like his dead associate.

"Tell Pride to prepare thoroughly. I'll be waiting for his revenge" Akira words slithered into the sunglasses-wearing man ears like a devil whisper, leaving him momentarily stunned.

Wait… did that mean…

He wasn't going to die?

Realizing this, the man nodded frantically, swearing he'd deliver the message without fail.

His earlier premonition had been right—Pride stood no chance against Akira!

He resolved to quit the mafia after relaying the message.

With Pride as one of the Ten Dons, the underworld had essentially provoked the most dangerous force across all six continents for no reason.

It was better to cut ties sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, among the 523 V5 officials clad in purple suits, one high-ranking figure gaze flickered subtly toward Akira, his eyes brimming with deep apprehension.

Akira power had far surpassed anything V5 could hope to control.

He was an uncontrollable variable.

After this, we need to intensify our surveillance on Akira.

This man demands our utmost attention.

"Hohohoho, it seems no one has any further doubts about Akira strength now?"

Seeing that everyone had fallen silent and the atmosphere had grown somewhat awkward, Chairman Netero posed the question one last time for formality sake.

As expected, not a single objection was raised.

With Akira unprecedented display of intimidation, those who already acknowledged him became even more convinced.

Even those who were initially skeptical had now been won over.

This included members of The Twelve Zodiac like Cluck and Kanzai.

Akira was truly strong!

The last person who dared question Akira had been crushed to death by his sheer aura alone.

"Excellent! Then I hereby officially declare Akira as one of the World's Top Five Nen Users!"

"His titles shall be Nen Exorcist and Nen Beast Master!"

Netero surveyed the room with a cheerful smile before making the announcement.

Though the process had been somewhat unusual, the outcome was exactly as he'd anticipated.

He'd just been slightly startled by Akira methods.

Five consecutive displays!

Such overwhelming power would be hard for anyone to believe.

After today's events, Akira name would undoubtedly resound throughout the entire Nen User community.

Regarding the titles - each of the Top Five Nen Users actually had their own epithets.

These could be considered similar to the nicknames used in Heavens Arena.

The titles were generally straightforward, either reflecting one profession or their Nen ability characteristics.

For instance, Linne was 'Gourmet Linne'.

Akira became the first to hold two simultaneous titles!

Nen Exorcist and Nen Beast Master.

Since both aspects were equally significant, listing just one wouldn't be appropriate.

Thus emerged the first dual-titled powerhouse among the elite.

One of the World's Top Five Nen Users - Nen Exorcist/Nen Beast Master Akira!

"While our purpose today was to announce the World's Top Five Nen Users,"

"Having witnessed what just transpired, I believe no further explanation is necessary."

"A new world strongest has emerged!"

Netero remarked meaningfully.

Though he didn't mention any names explicitly, everyone understood exactly who he was referring to.

Akira was not just one of the Top Five - he now stood as the world most powerful.

Without even needing to actually fight, Akira had left an indelible impression on everyone present.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, this would likely remain the most formidable existence they'd ever encounter in their lifetimes.

With Chairman Netero declaration, the new list of the World's Top Five Nen Users was finalized.

Akira name would soon spread like wildfire through the Nen User community, becoming the subject of endless discussion.
