Chapter 5 - The message - The Cyan palace

Chief Minister's Manor – Night

The man in the courtyard was none other than Chief Minister Edrich Varnwel, the steel pillar of Lord Tatsunokami's administration.

As he opened the parchment sealed with the Royal Crest, the Resanava (Red-White colour )Royal Bird fluttered once and then vanished into the sky like a ghost in moonlight.

Edrich squinted at the intricate signature below the letter, recognizing it instantly. He murmured with a hint of dry amusement,

> "These Royal Birds… truly like soldiers—swift, silent, and trained to perfection."

The man stood silently as the royal bird — Resanava, the sacred summon courier — flapped its vibrant wings and vanished instantly in the sky. leaving behind only silence and the weight of duty.

"These Royal Birds… truly like soldiers—swift, silent, and trained to perfection."

He unrolled the scroll slowly, his eyes scanning the elegant script, glowing faintly with divine ink.

He read on silently.

"An emergency summon. Mandatory. Tomorrow. Hah…"

His expression changed from peaceful to serious.

> "A summons from the Sky Castle... marked with Lord Tatsunokami's seal and Varynesia's signature. So, the silence finally breaks."

"What's the problem" this time. I don't know how much my lord hand over the weight on my shoulders. I am already getting old. Atleast lord has to understand that I am not immortal like he is. He takes a long breath and releases with an "AHhhhh..... He went inside his grand palace and went to dining room.

The Grand Dining Hall – Varnwel Estate

The chandeliers shimmered like golden galaxies suspended in time. The floor reflected the soft glow, and the long crystal-glass table stretched like a bridge between elegance and power. Silver-gilded chairs surrounded it like noble guardians.

Edrich sat at the head seat.

A young servant approached with a bow.

"Shall I serve dinner, my lord?"

He raised his palm gently.

"Wait… not yet."

Moments passed, filled only with the ticking of a distant clock and the soft hum of wind against stained-glass windows.

Then came the quiet but firm footsteps of a seasoned warrior.

Tenma Varnwel, head butler of the estate, entered with a bow sharp as his mind

He was the head of butler unit in chief minister Edrich varnwell house. He is a very skilled fighter and a very brave warrior. He was an ex army special unit commander. After retiring from army he joined the house of varnwell and after that began to know with the name of Tenma Varnwell. He is as good in spy and finding secret information as in fighting. He started with a lower rank in varnwell house but only in few years he climbed to the top by his unmatchable skills and potential. The head butler of varnwel house came and told.

Greetings my lord, I heard that you summoned me

Edrich nodded and gestured to the chair beside him.

"Yes. There's something I need looked into. Quietly."

He took a pen, scribbled a few lines onto a folded parchment, sealed it with his signet ring, and handed it to Tenma.

As he did, a second servant asked,

"Shall I serve you now, my lord?"

Edrich, eyes still on Tenma, finally said,

"Yes. Let the meal begin."

The servant began to gently serve plates of steamed greens, roasted golden meat, and shimmering broth. The plates themselves were polished silver and gold—each one a masterpiece.

Tenma stared at the sealed paper for a moment before slipping it into his coat.

"Do you truly want this investigated, my lord?" he asked softly, sensing the gravity behind the request.

Edrich didn't blink.

"Yes."

Tenma nodded once, firmly.

"As you command."

And with that, he vanished into the shadows—gone like a ghost.

As Edrich began to eat in silence, his eyes wandered to the large window facing the mountains.

"Something's coming… I can feel it in my bones."

He clenched his fork slightly.

"And I must be ready… for whatever it is."

Southern Border – Outer Planet of the Dragon World

Central Army Base Camp

A cool breeze swept across the volcanic cliffs, brushing the crimson banners of the Dragon Army. The Central Base Camp stood as a fortress of discipline and magic-infused steel—its guards never blinked, its spells never slept.

Suddenly, slicing through the sky like a sapphire flame, a sky-blue bird descended rapidly. It was no ordinary creature—it was Aeralis, one of the Royal Birds, known for their intelligence and near-telepathic loyalty to the Throne.

A sharp-eyed soldier standing at the watchpoint widened his eyes in recognition.

"Aeralis… A Royal bird!" he gasped. "Quick! Inform Captain Sam Ranseo—immediately!"

Moments later, Captain Sam Ranseo, a tall, broad-shouldered man with stern amber eyes and a silver-lined command cloak, arrived at the Messenger Hall. He wore the dragon insignia over his chestplate, a sign of his long service at the border.

The Royal Bird, calm and regal, extended its claw, releasing a tightly sealed scroll.

Captain Sam took it with care. The Royal Sigil shone in gold, and beneath it—a blood-red seal marked Confidential: Eyes Only for Command.

Turning to the assistant at his side, he ordered:

"Summon Rexia Midgar. Now."

Minutes later, a graceful yet commanding presence entered the tent.

Rexia Midgar a young Charming , silver hair lady dragon - elf women . She was damn beautiful.

She stood tall and saluted.

"Officer Rexia Midgar reporting, Captain."

Captain Sam turned, his voice steady.

"Fly with speed, Officer Midgar. And may the wind dragons guide you."
