"Good morning, sir. I was just about to head to your place..." Matthew's hurried tone echoed from the other end.
Noah swiftly apologized, stating he was too tired to check his phone the previous night.
"Who is the mastermind?" Noah impatiently asked, eager to confirm his suspicions.
Since yesterday, his suspicions have been entirely directed at Julia Hart. He believes she is the only person capable of such actions.
Nonetheless, Matthew's response took him by surprise.
"Jack Donovan!"
'Ja-Jack Donovan?!' Noah was utterly shocked.
It felt like lightning had struck him; he never imagined or expected that Jack would find his mother so quickly.
Noah recalls meeting Jack in this apartment only a few days before. How could Jack have found his mother's location to seek revenge the next day?
