Lorelei heads to her parents place to tell them about the news. When she reaches she welcomed by her parents
"Lorelei, what a surprise" mom says
"Hey mom"
"Hey dad" she hugs both of them having smiles on their faces, she takes a deep breathe in.
"Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you" but mom cuts in
"I know honey, your scared about the marriage but it's for your health"
"Yes, but that's not what brought me here" she says in the most soft slow voice ever
"What's wrong Lorelei?" Dad asks
"Please don't be mad" she says and her parents look at each other and nod.
"Mom, Dad, am pregnant" both are shocked and speechless but Dad breaks the silence first
"Whose the father of the bloody child?" he asks pissed
"Ledger Powers"
"That poor heart breaking asshole" mum yells
"It was a misunderstanding mum"
"Sam was gonna help you in your treatment but you have gotten yourself fucking pregnant"
"Am sorry Mum but I love him"
"Shut up, you stupid girl" she keeps quiet
"I want you out of my house now" he says coldly
"But Dad….."
"Get out now" he shouts cutting her off without her reacting, he grabs her hand drags her and tosses her out of the door, Lorelei is crying trying to recall what had just happened when her father comes back and throws her suitcases almost hitting her. She looks at her mom but she looks at her with sorrow in her eyes and just entered the house closing the door behind her, she cries more as she dials Ledger's number and he picks up immediately.
"Hello" Ledger says but hears Lorelei crying in the other end of the phone
"What's wrong Lorelei?"
"Mom and Dad have kicked me out for finding out am pregnant with your child"
"Why, I thought their would be happy"
"Their really want me to marry Sam but because your poor they cast me out"
"Am on my way Lorelei, my parents are happy to have a grand children" she just keeps crying, he stays with her on the line as his driving to clam her down. When he arrives he gives her a tight hug.
"Am sorry to hear about that my love, you are to start living with me and I will marry you right away"
"Thank you Ledger for being there for me" she hugs him, he carries her bags in the car and drives her off to his house.
