Mu Yuan took a deep breath, as if speaking required summoning courage. However, Ling Yan didn't give him a chance to speak, pressing on with relentless pursuit:
"I rebooted the chip to show you my sincerity. This is the only time, and the last chance. You can say anything you want to me now. I'm asking you again, Y, do you have anything you want to tell me?"
Mu Yuan froze for a second. The corners of his eyes turned crimson, and he fiercely bit the inside of his cheek, reminding himself not to compromise.
He rose from his chair, walked around the table, and approached Ling Yan.
As he drew near, Ling Yan leaned back in his chair, turning his head to look up at him.
The red alarm continued to flash, making Mu Yuan appear even more alluring. He slowly bent down, wrapped his arms around Ling Yan's neck, leaned close, and smiled ambiguously:
"No, I have nothing I want to say to you. But I do have something I want to do."
With that, Mu Yuan leaned in further towards Ling Yan...
