Chapter 6 - ...............................................................................................................................................................................

"Hello." A familiar voice greeted me. It was a voice i have not heard for quit a while.

I looked ahead as my suspicions came true.

"Good Morning Miss Rabbit." It was the fluffy white rabbit goddess I met at the start of my journey.

"How are you doing, Luna?" The rabbit goddess said.

"I am doing fine, Miss Rabbit." I answered politely. "It's been a while, Hasn't it?"

"Yes, It has." She chuckled. "I have been watching you interactions with the villainess. Your performance have been really good." She said.

"Really?" Somehow i felt like that is not the reason she brought me here today.

And the rabbit goddess seems to have caught my thoughts from my face.

"Yes, your performance have been very good." She paused for a moment. "But..."

"But?" There was concern in her voice.

"Luna how difficult do you think the enemies you faced until now are?" She asked. Quit a odd question if i say so.

"Relatively easy actually." I answered thinking about all the monsters i have defeated till now.

"Hah..." She sighed. "Those enemies are not that easy to defeat, at least considering your age."

"Hm?"

"What i mean to say is, The growth of your power is too fast." She said in a grim tone.

"Is that a problem?" I asked. No wonder i felt so overpowered till now. Even while hunting monsters in the wild i never felt overwhelming to deal with.

"It is indeed a big problem." She cleared her throat. "You see, as i have told you before. If someone comes in contact with divine powers they have a chance to develop Divinity as well.

The chances are low but you already had the qualifications for it when i choose you. After that whether that person can evolve into a demigod is up to them.

Usually this process takes a long time. At least 70 to 80 years.

But for you..." She paused for a moment, as she looked at me.

"Am i growing too quickly?"

"Quickly would be an understatement. You are just five to six years old. But the amount of growth you are showing is dangerous."

"What would happen if i continue to grow like this?" I asked. Curious.

She thought for a few moments. "You would have to go through something called ascension. If you are too immature for that, you will simply die." She said. Her concern evident.

"...Death you say." Hm, that does sound a little bad.

"How much time do i have till this ascension thing?"

"About ten more years." She said. Ten years. That is too fast indeed. considering people go through ascension in their 70's while i am going through it in my teens.

"Do you have any way to prevent that?"

She shook her head in denial. "I do have a way to extend that by another 25 years, but your ascension would came early still. Though delaying your ascension would certainly increase your odds of surviving."

"I see."

The rabbit looked apologetic. "I am very sorry i can not do anything about it."

"It's Okay. I have already died once. It doesn't matter to be honest." Though i would still like to fix Lady Azure's life before my inevitable demise hits me.

"But still."

"Don't worry it's not that big of a deal." Worrying about it would not solve anything.

As they say, you usually can't get out of your life alive, anyways.

"Yawn!" I woke up.

The environment is different today. This is because today i am waking up not at the inn but at my new home.

I opened the curtains revealing a relatively lively road at the front.

"Uh, Luna, Good Morning!" The fruit seller Lady across the streets said. I met this woman yesterday when we were moving in. And found her quit interesting.

"Good Morning Mam." I answered.

After exchanging some pleasantries i went to my own my morning routine. I swiftly made a good breakfast.

Ron doesn't seems to home. Maybe he is spending the night at some cheap brothel again. To be honest he spends a surprising amount his pocket money on gambling and women. But then again, he is a pretty handy person to have around. And besides what he does with his money is not my matter of concern.

I decided to leave a portion of breakfast for him though.

While eating my morning breakfast i took out something.

"Hm.." It was a sword. A very pretty looking sword not gonna lie.

I remembered the words of miss Rabbit.

"Can you give this thing to the villainess she said." Now i am curious, why does the Rabbit goddess wants to give the villainess a sword?

Unfortunately i didn't have time to ask about it.

The sword it self looks quite pretty. In my opinion, it's blue and black handle matches perfectly with Lady Azures Eye color and hair color.

"Dark-Ocean-Perl." Is the name engraved on it's blade.

"Sigh, forget it." I waved my hand and the sword disappeared. It can appear and disappear at wish just like the "Guide". The rabbit goddess told me to give it to Lady Azure when i have the chance. So, i guess i will wait for that chance.

I have a bigger problem to worry about.

After finishing the breakfast i got to my room again. It was a lively outside. But i calmed my mind down immediately. Taking a deep breath, i extended my Gods Aura. A faint wind blew around me. Then i condensed it.

It was definitely not the most comfortable thing. But i was able to pull it off thanks to some guidance i received from the rabbit goddess previously. Essentially i am suppressing my Gods Aura.

According to the rabbit goddess, this would hinder my Ascension path. And would give me some more time.

By the end of the session i managed to create a small droplet of Gods Aura. It was very visible with the naked eyes a milky white ethereal liquid.

"Wow..." I have never seen my gods Aura so concentrated before.

And i could certainly feel the amount of energy inside this floating semi liquid ball of energy.

"Oh, my Luna. Are you going to work alone? Where is your father?" As i was exiting my door, the fruit seller lady said. Her tone laced with concern.

"Uh, he is busy. And would be joining work late." I said.

"Where do you work dear? Let me take you there."

"No, no. It is fine. I am used to this." I said. Not this again. Previously it was the inn aunt and now the fruit seller lady.

"Are you sure about that dear?" The fruit seller lady frowned. Did i say something wrong?

"Yes, it is fine." I quickly made my exit from there. Before, the fruit seller lady could think up something weird.

As i scurried in to the main roads i could still feel the fruit seller lady's eyes on me the whole time.

After getting out of her range of vision, i started taking my usual route which is a very quite root. It's not the safest to walk through but it does take less time.

"Urgh." As i reached the gates, i couldn't help but complain how little my walking speed was. Strangely i didn't get as much tired today.

Maybe the meditation the goddess gave me does have some positive effects on the body as i feel a little bit more energetic now.

(Third Person POV)

"Damn Those Mother Fu*kers were persistent." Ron cussed. He had a pretty wild night of gambling. As the Rumored Hero he couldn't just back away.

After beginning to stick with Luna a lot of things have happened. Some bad. While some good.

Among the good things, there is definitely the fact that he now has a lot of money. The monsters Luna defeat are enough to feed someone for a life time. And Luna gives him a generous portion of that money.

But there is definitely some bad thing that happened as well.

The rumors about him are all over the place. Some believe he is some kind of god. While others believe he is just lucky to defeat all those monsters. Fortunately not many people recognize him. And then there is the fact that he is very proficient in his ability to deceive people.

After all he is just a low life living his low life. Ron paused. A distant memory resurfaced, which he quickly shook away from his head.

"Um hello?" Suddenly a timid voice called out to him.
