Chapter 27 - World most expensive Gundam Model

[Third POV, Year 2001, Broken Loop, July 7th, Adrian's House]

"I see, so you wanted your dear Stark to help you speed up the process. Alright then, you won't need to worry, kid—I got you covered."

Tony then proceeded to walk over to a metal cabinet in the room. After inputting a password on a number pad, he opened it and took out a box, then closed the cabinet and walked back to Adrian's side.

"See, after I made JARVIS, I decided to keep practicing and made some other Natural Language Interfaces in case something happened and JARVIS got compromised in one way or another. So you can choose one of these to use for the robo-gundams while I teach you the tricks to make your own."

Placing the box on the table, Stark put out three chips, each labeled in marker with a name:

FRIDAY

JOCASTA

TADASHI

Seeing that there were only three chips—compared to the five shown in Age of Ultron—Adrian made a mental note.

"Really? Thanks, Tony. In exchange, I'll give you a piece of advice. There's this woman your company recently hired who'd make a great secretary. I already ran a background check myself."

While looking at the chips and recognizing the names from the movie, Adrian moved his hand toward them.

"I'll choose... this one. I like the name."

While it was true Adrian liked the name, the reason wasn't simply because it sounded nice, but because of what it represented.

'Jocasta was an AI created by Ultron to be his bride in the comics. She ended up betraying him and becoming a hero. I'm a bit torn about not choosing Tadashi—a reference to the character from Big Hero Six—but I'll honor him in another way.'

Glancing briefly at the TADASHI chip, Adrian sighed internally and took the JOCASTA chip into his hand, then looked at Tony.

"Now I only need to make a central server to store and activate Jocasta while we work on the project. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you?"

With somewhat hopeful eyes, Adrian looked at Tony, who sighed and grabbed something else from the box.

"No, but don't worry, kid. This is a receptor and storage unit at the same time. We'll just plug the chip into here and connect it to one of our computers. I'll run a program to start Jocasta, and I'll give you a computer with enough memory to run her while we build up her databases. After all, running these robots will take a lot of resources. The good thing is, we're both rich."

Plastering a grin on his face, Tony inserted the Jocasta chip into the receptor and handed it back to Adrian.

"Now, time to start building our own mini-gundam. We need to decide what materials to use—iron won't cut it."

Hearing that, Adrian closed his eyes briefly to access his memories, then responded.

"There are a lot of materials. I wanted to use something like vibranium or adamantium, but those are kinda tricky to get. We should probably go with a gold-titanium alloy for now. Later, we can upgrade them with better materials."

"Maybe they're tricky, but not impossible to get, you know? Adamantium's easier—I own an arms company, remember? I've got close ties to the military. I can get some and maybe even figure out the formula. As for vibranium, I know a guy from a convention. He talked about something new—a game changer. He said it was vibranium. Considering Captain America's shield is made of it—which isn't public knowledge—he must have some."

Tony pulled up a projection in the room while he spoke, showing images of both materials and their properties.

"If we want something easier with high attack power, we go adamantium. If we want something harder to get but stronger on defense, vibranium's our pick. So, what do you say, kid?"

"Adamantium for the first ones. You should have one for yourself, and I'll have three: one for me, one for my dad, and one for my mom. Later we can get vibranium and make an alloy combining both metals' properties to upgrade them. The only problem is energy."

"Yeah, we can't go with regular batteries or standard power sources. What do you think, kid? Should we start with vibranium? I've heard it absorbs and produces energy very efficiently."

"I was actually thinking of a closer alternative. In fact, it's closely related to you."

"Me? What are you talking about now?"

Somewhat confused, Tony asked JARVIS to pull up all energy projects related to him, then turned back to Adrian.

"Solar energy? That'd take too long and be super inefficient. Are you talking about the ARC reactor? Hate to break it to you, kid, but if we want to use that, we'd need to build the robo-gundams the size of actual gundams."

"Not if we miniaturize it. In fact, you could use it for other things too. Who knows—you might end up developing something for the energy sector. Or maybe power... I don't know, a power armor?"

"Come on, that idea is—wait... actually, we could pull that off. Two geniuses could get it done in under a month. And that power armor idea sounds kinda good, actually."

About to refute the idea of miniaturizing the reactor, Tony stopped himself—realizing it was not only feasible but also, though he wouldn't admit it out loud, kind of badass.

"Alright then, kid. I guess we should get to work. First the ARC reactor, then adamantium. I'll talk to some military contacts to get my hands on some adamantium, figure out the formula, and then we can build the robots."

Autor Note: I'll use the building time as an excuse te speed up and make a time skip, the next teo chapters we will already be at september which means the sucess and then soon confrontation with Hydra, however i'm thinking of stopping the novel for a day to watch more of deltarune and discover all secrets and lore

SPOILERS FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN'T PLAYED OR WATCHED DELTARUNE CHAPTER 3-4

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

As we have new knowledge of the dark worlds and how they work, as they are basically someone manipulating reality to make darkness (the absence of light) and substract even more light, which means reality mixes with fantasy and those are dark worlds, because Kris made that darkworld it means humans in deltarune (And probably in UT too) can, as Kris is not the knight/special, there is even more lore regarding magic and power now with the information so i have to fit that in this fic.
