Lyra POV
"What did you say?" He asked, his voice almost a whisper.
"Eve was never pregnant. I found out few weeks ago with Pack Doctor. She told me about how Eve lied just to make sure you stay with her." I narrated, seeing the look of shock on his face.
Ezra remained speechless for a moment. His hand moved over to his chin, scratching through the small hair while he was thinking.
"And the same Eve is not around when Eight Million gold is missing in my Pack account." He said.
"Eight Million gold!" I screamed in disbelief.
Eve is a devil and even though I didn't want to have anything to do with Ezra anymore, I still felt sorry because he had to go through the problems
We were still in silence about the whole thing when a pack soldier walked into the room, clutching unto his chest as he breathes heavily.
"We found Eve at the Pack boarder. She killed three of our men when we demanded that she meets up with you."
