With the job taken care of, I returned to the gate where I found Luna and Kiki waiting for me. Luna greeted me with a polite smile, while Kiki looked at me with a face that seemed to ask, 'How are you not injured?'
"See, Kiki? I told you he would be fine," Luna said, putting on a joyous smile, which caused Kiki to pout and cross her arms.
"Hmph. You were the one who was worried about him, talking about how we should go back for him."
Luna's cheerful expression quickly faded into one of embarrassment as she desperately tried to cover Kiki's mouth, her face turning beet red.
"Kiki, you can dispel the illusion now," I said, interrupting their banter.
"O-okay, but did you seriously beat all those guys by yourself?"
"Would I be here if I didn't?"
"I suppose not," she answered.
