Gan's next course of action was to implement the DC Comics Lantern Corps system in this reality. This would open up a path for Gan to truly rise once he became Nigh-Omnipotent. His greatest goal was to become Omnipotent, which was unheard of in most comics.
"At most, people could become Nigh-Omnipotent, and not truly Omnipotent. The gulf between the two was simply the distance between heaven and earth. It's truly an unreachable goal for any and everyone."
This was different for Gan, though. If he could secretly access Universal, Multiversal, and especially Omniversal energy, he would ascend to that level.
"I haven't even become Nigh-Omnipotent yet, and I'm dreaming of Omnipotence." Gan smiled crookedly before he began creating the Lanturn Corp's Central Batteries.
The first Lanturn Central Battery created was the Blue Lanturn. Afterward, Gan created the Green, Violet, and Indigo Central Batteries. These Batteries were massive, thus he had to increase the height of the room.
"These are all of the positive aspects of the emotional spectrum." Gan attempted to create energy based on Love, Will, Hope, and Compassion, but found that he couldn't do it.
"I don't think I can create something as intangible as this. Even if I had all of the powers of the Infinity Stones, it wouldn't work."
Gan had to really think now, these Central Batteries were just empty vases at this point.
"I'll put it on hold for now, I'll come up with something later. For now, I need to think about the gift I want to give Aria." Gan remembered how she mentioned Minecraft and her wanting to be a superhero.
"That's right, I've read several manhwa in my past world. Can't I create a realistic gaming helmet just for her?" This would allow her to enter a super-realistic reality, Gan also wanted to make this special.
He got to work immediately, his expression filled with concentration. Soon, the gaming helmet was brought into existence.
The gaming helmet that Gan had created was black. This helmet had violet and yellow ambient light circulating through it. He grabbed the helmet before opening a wormhole back home.
"For this project, I can stay home and work on it." Gan sat on his bed and began operating his abilities.
First and most importantly, he created a large Dimension. Afterward, he used his reality warp capabilities to turn it into a Minecraft world. The helmet could destroy and create these worlds according to the wearer's choice.
It was like deleting a Minecraft world and creating a new one. Gan also utilized his abilities to create an AI that would help explain and guide her. The Mind Stone was capable of creating artificial intelligence, as it did with Vision.
"I'll also have the ability to spy on this world, shape, and enter it while she's present. In Minecraft, completing achievements gives points will be the goal. I'll create a special Marketplace for these Achievement Points, where she can buy items."
These specific items can be brought into reality, this was Gan's goal. He created marketplace levels, she would start at level one.
"The level one Marketplace will sell E to F rank items that can be brought into reality. If she reaches level two, she can purchase new items that rank from C to D."
There were five levels she could reach, Aria was required to complete Minecraft on every difficulty to reach level two. Aria would also need to acquire every Minecraft achievement in the game, which were 122 in total.
This was the Bedrock Edition.
"I should make things easier by shaping this dimension for my use." Gan decided to place these pocket dimensions into a black cube so he could have direct contact with these worlds.
Minecraft was only one of the dimensions he could create within this cube space.
"The space within this cube is almost infinite, these other spaces can be used to create more gaming worlds for her." This would be worlds she could unlock through certain means.
For E to F rank, there wouldn't be any items that would give her powers. Aria would start receiving real-life power-ups when she unlocked the C-rank marketplace and upward. This was not even mentioning the fact that she would need points to buy these real-life power-ups.
His powers also allowed him to create a game interface. Gan could also create a player system from those Manhwa if he wanted. He would only need to load this system up with the items and rewards that the 'player' could earn.
"With my Narrative ability, no one would be able to detect these systems. I must also infuse this Virtual Reality Cube with my 'Narrative' special skill, ensuring that no Comic Entities or other beings can perceive these pocket dimensions.
This would block any being from noticing or prying in this virtual world built by him. The helmet had great control of these worlds and decided if they were to be destroyed or kept.
Gan created the villagers, they were alive, but not alive at the same time. The Mind Stone gave them some intelligence, but Gan couldn't create souls.
He spent three hours creating the items she could earn from the marketplace. Gan only worked on the items from C to F rank. He had to regulate their cost fairly while weighing and comparing the points received per achievement.
Gan used the Virtual Reality Cube and created a vault space within it. This would hold many duplicate items from the Marketplace. The AI would be in charge of the exchange when she wanted to purchase something.
"There will be more serious worlds she could unlock as well. This horror genre game will allow her to net more points. I wonder if she would be willing to play such a world."
This new virtual reality world he created was a Zombie Apocalypse one. Here, Aria could find chests around this world with loot to fight against hostile people and zombies alike. Gan added power-ups, weapons, and many other things.
However, this was for later. For now, she had to focus on playing and beating Minecraft. Hopefully, the zombies in here would give her a feel for the more realistic ones later.
"Hehe, you want to become a superhero, then you'll have to earn it." Gan stroked his chin and was on the verge of stepping into this Minecraft game world to give it a try when he heard a knock at his door.
"Gan, your cousins have come to visit you and Galen! Come and see them, they want to see you!" Gan heard his mom at the door shouting to get his attention.
"Alright! I'll be right there!" Gan squinted as he set the Black Virtual Cube and the Virtual Reality Helmet into the sizable safe beside his bed.
Gan quickly went upstairs, where he could hear everyone talking.
"Look at him, he's grown straight up. How tall are you now?" A man with a buzz-cut and a fuzzy beard could be seen patting Galen's shoulder with a teeth-revealing smile.
This was Gan's and Galen's first uncle, Garrick. Their father, Gary, had two brothers named Garrick and Grant Winters. Both of whom were Gan and Galen's uncles. Their father was the oldest among the three siblings.
"I'm 180 cm now," Galen replied modestly.
"Man, you're almost 6 feet and you're only in the 9th grade! What the heck are you feeding this kid?" Even he and his brother weren't this tall at this age.
"We're feeding them regular food, we don't have super food here." Gary laughed before he turned and saw Gan walk in.
"Gan! Little nephew, you might not be that tall, but there's still room for growth. How have you been, young man? Dang, you look just like your dad when he was a kid, unreal!" Garrick was stunned as he ran over Gan's physique and face.
"Good, Good, I've been good." Gan coughed slightly, It was a bit weird hearing those words. Looking like some when he was a kid, he knew he related to his dad, but this was a little too much to hear.
"If it isn't Gan, my goodness."
"Cousin, it's been a minute."
His uncle didn't get to reply when he was cut off by his approaching cousins.
Gan was greeted by his five cousins as soon as his uncle was done speaking. Grant, who was the young brother of their dad, had two kids, while Garrick had three.
Grant's children were Giovanni and Gianna, while Garrick's children were named Galan, Galadan, and Gloria.
At some point in history, Gan observed that the names of his relatives tended to begin with the letter G. As for the reason they were following this pattern when naming their children, he was uncertain and hadn't inquired about it.
"It has been a while, It's nice to see you guys after so long." Gan especially liked Giovanni and Gloria. They gave each other a fancy handshake before pulling each other in for a quick hug and a pat on the back.
"Where do you guys live now?" Gan asked.
"We live in Manhattan. We live in an actual house, not any of those connected houses from back then." What Galan meant was an affordable house unit.
"I know that's right. I could almost hear the neighbors breathing next door."
How could Gan not know how they felt about those times? He had spent a night at their houses plenty of times. The neighbor's 'business' could be heard so often that their aunt had complained about it an uncountable number of times.
As Gan was talking to them, an idea suddenly flashed across his mind. He had other distant cousins he had met before, but he wasn't as close to them.
This plan would include getting close to the X-Men; well, at least meeting them. This way, he could copy many abilities while he was there.
Indeed, Gan had the crazy idea of turning these cousins into Mutants!
The Omni Force, which seemed to have sensed his thoughts, green-lighted him. It confirmed that with his current power, he could indeed turn them into mutants.
'Xavier would surely sense them, but I have to block this sense for now.' If he turned them into mutants, this would also expand his contacts, where he could build a relationship with the mutants later or sooner.
Mutants are the most versatile beings in the multiverse, there was no telling what crazy powers Gan could acquire.
"Ah, man, you guys don't have a basketball rim yet? I was hoping to shoot some hoops and show you guys a thing or two." Galadan sighed before shaking his head.
"You wanna teach a thing or two with that ugly jump-shot." Gloria sneered with a mocking smile.
"Oh, I know you ain't talking. Do you need me to cross you up again? This time you'll be getting sent to the hospital for ankle surgery."
"Tsk! You ain't gon cross anyone up with those weak handles!" Galan couldn't help himself and said.
"Hey, hey, I know you guys aren't arguing over who's the best. I just wanna say that you all are trash and can't play to save your lives!"
"I heard there was a park nearby that has a rim. Dang it! If we had a basketball, we could go there right now and play." Giovanni wished he had brought his basketball, but he forgot it.
The trip from Manhattan to here was simply too long.
"We don't have to play physical basketball, what about a game of NBA 2k?" Galen grinned and suggested. He was confident in his ability when it came to physical and virtual basketball.
"Oh, no, cousin. We just met after so many years, but you insist on being beaten by me like this?" Galadan was the first to reply; they were all video game junkies so this alarmed them immedieately.
"Let's go! I call first!"
Gan was able to speak with his three male cousins for a bit before they rushed away with Galen.
'What the heck! We just met after so many years, and you guys rush off to play video games!' Gan was lost for words when he saw the group racing off.
"It can't be helped; they play video games all day. Once I heard Galen mention 2k, I knew it was over." Gianna knew it was hopeless and didn't try to stop them.
Gan talked to both his female cousins before inviting them to his room. They wanted to watch a movie, which Gan quickly agreed to.
'Time to initiate my little mutant X-gene creation.' Gan was filled with anticipation, as he understood the process that needed to be taken.
