Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – Rian Shocks the Intelligence World! The Bio-Weapon Theft! Taylor: Where's the Virus?!

"Chen, you can be the lead on this op," said one agency head, "but Homeland Security can't hog it all for themselves."

Leaders from every major intelligence agency had now arrived at the site. Everyone wanted a piece of the action—a chance to gain glory from this historic raid and climb the bureaucratic ladder.

Inside the container, Chen frowned, his eyes twitching with irritation.

"Damn vultures, all of them. Sniffing around like hyenas. If this were a nuke, they'd still be this desperate."

But this was no ordinary weapon. This was the Water Virus—something so dangerous it didn't belong in anyone's hands. Especially not theirs.

"Hell no. No way I'm letting this out of my sight."

Grinding his teeth, Chen leaned over the alloy case and discreetly entered a code only he knew.

"Don't say a word," he growled to the weapons expert beside him. "You breathe a hint of what's inside, and I'll take down this whole room."

The expert, pale and sweating, nodded frantically.

But the comms were heating up outside. More agents were arriving—CIA, NSA, even MI6. Each one claiming rights over the cargo. Chen pretended to play along.

"Relax, folks. We haven't confirmed what this even is. It's definitely not a nuclear device—no radiation. We can't call it WMD-class yet."

A team quickly scanned for radiation. Results came back negative.

That cooled the room.

Still, a weapon this well-secured couldn't be anything ordinary.

"Fine. Let them think it's minor. We'll get it shipped to a secure DHS lab and dissect it later."

Chen gave the order: the container would be airlifted to a secure Homeland facility. He already had toxic gas bullets prepared—if someone tried to take it en route, they'd be in for a nasty surprise.

But what he didn't know was that the weapons expert… was CIA.

Bryce Williams, a senior CIA handler, had been coordinating this from the start.

As the helicopter lifted off with the container, Bryce smiled to himself.

"For forty years, we've searched for the Water Virus. And now... it's in our hands."

Rian, of course, already knew something was off. His doppelgänger, White Wolf, watched silently from above in his invisibility suit.

Back at LAPD HQ, Director Jonathan was speaking with Rian, visibly impressed.

Suddenly, a cyber forensics officer rushed in with breaking news.

"Sir! We cracked Killian's phone. There's a top-level encrypted message regarding the transport of a 'Water Virus'!"

Jonathan blinked. "What the hell is that?"

The officer hesitated, then said, "Have you seen Prometheus, the sci-fi film?"

Jonathan raised a brow. "What does that have to do with anything?"

The officer replied, "Sir… the weapon shares the same name as in the film. The real deal. Genetically engineered to rewrite DNA."

The room went quiet.

Meanwhile, Chen answered a secure satellite call from DHS.

"Chen, LAPD confirms: the entire Prometheus group was neutralized by one man. We've reviewed the ballistics. The shooter used a TTI HK416 and Cobra shotgun—same gear as Rian."

Chen's jaw dropped.

"Impossible. One guy? 156 terrorists wiped out alone?"

Nearby agents were whispering:

"Bullshit! That many hostiles would need two full assault teams at minimum."

"Who the hell is this guy? Some LAPD myth?"

"Wait... you don't mean Rian?"

Suddenly, panic spread.

"That's him. That's the guy who took down the Prometheus cell—alone!"

"Jesus. That's not a cop... that's a damn super-soldier!"

Then, chaos erupted.

"Shit! The virus container is missing!"

"What?!"

"Intercept the helicopter! Don't let it get away!"

But it was too late.

The chopper carrying the container was already airborne—escorted by two F-35s from a nearby Air Force base. No agency could interfere now.

It was heading to Rollins AFB, a top-secret military facility.

Once there, military officers took control, blocking all intelligence agents at the gate.

Even the CIA had to wait outside.

Inside, Bryce stood with folded arms, smirking. The virus was now in military hands—and by extension, in CIA control.

Chen, furious, demanded a re-check of the container. But when it was opened… it was empty.

"No! This can't be! The virus was right here!"

He turned to Bryce—who simply smiled.

"Welcome to the real intelligence game."
