Elenoir
Such a beautiful place it is. It's a pity that it had to face the consequences of the war. Well that won't be happening now that I am here.
Yes, I sneaked into the elf kingdom. Not to sight see,ok? The mist surrounding the kingdom was not a problem for me with my senses and haki.
I am here to plant some contingencies for the upcoming war and meet the future commander and that hag named rinia.
The contingencies I am talking about are just me making my clones and letting them blend in and keep an eye on any suspicious activity. I can keep my clones going indefinitely and I have can give them polyguice, yes the same as harry potter one, to change their faces. Getting hair samples was...Let's not talk about it.The Alacryans used some kind of array to enter here, if I remember correctly.
What was his name again something like molview or something who made these array.
Anyways let's put this thought in side, how should I introduce myself to virion. I don't think I left a good impression the last time I met him. And I don't think he will trust me that easily.
Let's just go with the flow and see what happens.
Getting inside the royal castle was a child's play for me. As I spread my haki to cover all of the castle I can see where he was. He was just returning to his chamber after playing with his one year old granddaughter.
Hurriedly I got inside his room and sat on the chair and made a cool pose as I waited for him to enter. And yes I am in my ghost getup.
[Virion Eralith]
Ever since I lost my wife in the war, I lost all my happiness. I thought I won't be happy ever again. But then she was born, my granddaughter. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in seen my life. So small and fragile. She was like a ray of sunshine in my life. I vowed to keep her safe even on the cost of my life.
She is now one year old and is a very energetic child just like I was.
Looks like this little one is going to be a problem child in the future. Heh..who would have thought.
My granddaughter and I were currently having our playtime session.
Her tiny hands flailed around as she babbled nonsense with a smile that could melt the iciest glaciers . She tugged at my beard again—her favorite target lately.
"Ow—alright, alright, you win, little lady," I chuckled, lifting her gently and spinning her in the air, earning a giggle that made all the lingering war memories blur for a moment.
But eventually, duty calls—even for a retired grandfather. After reluctantly handing her back to her nursemaid, I made my way to my chambers to deal with the mountain of paperwork awaiting me which I still regret taking voluntarily.
As I pushed open the door to my room, expecting solitude, I was met with something… unexpected.
A man—no, a figure—sat cross-legged in my chair. Skull-patterned mask. Arms crossed casually like he owned the place.
My eyes widened because one: I recognised him and two: he got in my chamber unnoticed.
I can't even sense his mana core.
The masked enigma who'd made a brief, chaotic, and frankly annoying impression the last time we crossed paths. I hadn't forgotten the smug attitude, the ridiculous theatrics, or the way he vanished before I could properly interrogate him.
"Who are you? And how Did you get inside?" I fired my questions as I thought of various ways to warn the guards outside.
"Relax Commander, I come in peace." He said lifting his hands in mock surrender.
"Answer my question." I said putting mana behind my words to add some weight.
"Looks like introductions are due.Ghost, a regular adventurer." He said casually, not affected by my voice."And as for how I got in, well your security is pretty flawed."
"Ghost was it, why are you here?" I asked relaxing my tense muscles but still remained vigilant of any movement.
"No reason, really. Just wanted to say hello. By the way, congratulations on becoming a grandfather, cute child she is."
My whole body stiffened "Are you threatening me with my granddaughter?" I asked quietly, my mana flaring once again as the whole room started shaking.
His posture didn't change. "No. If I wanted to harm you or your granddaughter, I wouldn't be here having this peaceful conversation, now would I?"
Annoyingly, he had a point. Still, I wasn't about to trust him.
"You said you're a regular adventurer. You don't exactly look the part." I gestured to the the mask and clothes.
"Fashion is subjective," he replied, joking.
I rubbed the bridge of my nose, already feeling a headache forming. "You break into my kingdom, sneak into the most secure part of the palace, plop yourself in my chair like you're on holiday, and then joke about fashion?"
"Well in future we are going to be meeting very frequently, so I thought why not introduce myself. Anyways, now that is done, see you soon commander. Toodles." He said as he vanished from my sight.
[Ghost]
Well that was...good, I think.
I atleast made an impression that he won't be able to forget. And also I put my soldiers in his and tessia's shadow.
Two days have passed since my visit to the elf kingdom. I explored as much as I could and abandoned the idea of meeting the seer.
Maybe I will meet her in the future. Meh...not like it's necessary.
Currently, I'm sprawled on the training ground floor of my very upgraded Ghost Cave, Jörmi is curled around my neck—Speaking of the Ghost Cave, it's no longer just a cool name. It is the most secure place in the continent now. Completely mana-concealed, sealed in a separate dimensional pocket, with a portal entrance keyed to my DNA and mana signature. Basically, if someone unauthorized tries to enter, the door will bite them.
Literally. It has fangs.
Blame the Gacha.
I've stocked it with gadgets—some self-built, others gifted by the Gacha gods (praise the RNGesus). There's a surveillance room that taps into my shadow-clone network and all the things I want to watch, a mini-lab that I shamelessly copied from Tony Stark's setup, and of course, a beanbag corner with a stash of snacks and a holographic entertainment system.
Priorities.
Ahem....
Anyways, enough about ghost cave. The main reason I am here because today is the gacha day.
I just hope that I get something good, maybe something soul related that way I can solve many future problems.
But now I am conflicted, do I spin item Specific or simple gacha.
Should I do a coin toss? Is it ok to make decisions with a coin? I am overthinking again aren't I ? Sigh...let's just do the toss.
I took out a gold coin from my inventory and marked head as simple and tails with item Specific. As I tossed it into the air it landed on tails. Totally fair, no vector manipulation involved.
Alrighty then Item Specific it is . But first let's put on some music.
And so I blasted a phonk in my ghost cave.
Phew.... Take a deep breath. I will get something good.
"Roll the Gacha." I called out loudly, feeling the music.
1. Kim Dokja's Phone (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint)
(The only item that knows more spoilers than the author.)
2. Coffin of Eternity (Against the Gods)
(Why die once when you can sleep dramatically for centuries? Now with built-in brooding mode and plot resurrection button.)
3. Murloc Cufflink (Lord of the Mysteries)
(Great for Atlantis but useless in Arizona.)
4. Icha Icha Novel (Naruto)
(Rated 18+. Written by a perv, read by legends. Reading this in public voids your reputation warranty.)
5. Infinite Chocolate
(Never ends. Neither do the calories. May cause sugar highs, emotional bonding, and betrayal over the last bite.)
6. Kevin Levin's Car (Ben 10)
(Engine go vroom, has infinite gas.Side effects include explosions, adrenaline addiction, and unnecessary drifting indoors.)
7. Books on Soul Magic
(Who needs therapy when you can tamper with your very essence? Cursed, haunted, and weirdly insightful.)
8. Shovel (The Greatest Estate Developer)
(Can build empires, graves, and legal loopholes. Hits harder than most plot twists.)
9. Demon-Dweller Sword (Black Clover)
(Eats magic like it's on a low-carb diet. Swings like a truck, looks like edgy cosplay gear.)
10. Card Recycling Machine
(Don't cry over bad pulls—just feed them to me.—The Machine)
"Coool, more swords for me." I said as I took out the sword and swing it on a training dummy.
As the Demon-Dweller Sword whistled through the air, it left a faint distortion trail behind—slicing cleanly through a reinforced mana dummy like it was made of butter.
"Ohohoho… this one's hungry," I murmured, feeling the way the sword vibrated faintly, like it was tasting the residual mana in the room.
Jörmi hissed approvingly, slithering down my shoulder and coiling around the hilt, curiously inspecting the dark blade with curious eyes.
Good taste, buddy.
I sheathed the sword (well, technically I shoved it into my inventory), then turned to inspect the rest of my loot.
Dokja's phone is iconic but I have more iconic phone than his.
All hail Nokia.
But it can be useful....like note taking, and reading TWSA. The coffin is useful but my inventory works in the same way, sooo....it is also useless unless it has a feature I don't know about.
LOTM,huh.
Haven't read the novel, but I have heard that it a very OP universe. But this cufflink is not very OP just make me breathe underwater and it even has a downside. Maybe I will get something stronger Next time.
Moving on, I got some.... interesting books.
Gonna read icha icha novel for.... educational purposes later.
I flipped open the Books on Soul Magic, casually flipping past chapters like "Don't Split Your Soul Into Seven" and "Soul Binding for Dummies." One chapter was literally titled "You Probably Shouldn't Do This"—which, naturally, made it the first one I bookmarked. Kevin Levin's car is pretty neat.
Maybe I can sometimes take it for a ride, secretly of course. This shovel is the same one that Lloyd used, shame it doesn't have any magical powers.
Lloyd is the GOAT, by the way.
The chocolate is going straight into my snack stash
But the award of most useful thing of today goes to the Card Recycling Machine, I can now sacrifice any five cards to get a new card. I have A Lot of useless cards, so this is going to be extremely helpful.
"I am going to have very much fun With you." I said with a smirk.
But not today, because I have to go on a date .....if you want to call it one. We just walk with each other in the market and talk to each other.
Which is mostly me talking and she just listens.
