Monarch's primary function was the investigation and monitoring of anomalous creatures and unidentified entities classified as strange beasts or Titans.
They also coordinates specialized response units in scenarios where such entities present a credible threat to human survival.
These teams cooperate with governmental agencies and national military forces to neutralize the threats decisively and through situational assessments.
However, an alternate protocol exists for instances in which eradication proves unfeasible.
In such cases, the Organization shifts its strategic posture toward containment and potential coexistence, provided such arrangements do not compromise broader ecological or human stability.
Godzilla stands as a quintessential example of this adaptive strategy.
Faced with an influx of intelligence reports detailing emergent kaiju activity across global hotspots, Dr. Ichiro Serizawa—descendant of the esteemed Dr. Eiji Serizawa—found himself increasingly burdened by the weight of humanity's precarious position.
He exhaled slowly, the implications of the data settling over him like a pall.
Humanity, it seemed, stood at the precipice of ecological reprisal.
Guided by his father's philosophy, Dr. Serizawa held firmly to the principle that nature maintains its mechanisms of equilibrium—a concept encapsulated in the Gaia Hypothesis.
Within this framework, Earth is viewed as a singular, self-regulating organism: its core likened to a heart, magma as its circulatory fluid, the lithosphere as a skeletal structure, and the atmosphere as a dermal covering.
Though humans have long considered themselves the planet's dominant species, Serizawa posited that humanity more accurately resembles a parasitic force that draws sustenance from the planet's finite systems.
An immunological response would occur if this parasitic presence disrupted the planet's stability.
The emergence of kaiju and other Titans may be symptomatic of the Earth's immune response—biological correctives to anthropogenic imbalance.
Perhaps, Serizawa contemplated grimly, it is now humanity's turn to be judged.
"Dr. Serizawa, we've lost contact with the outpost team stationed on Isla Sorna," announced Vivian, his assistant, urgently entering.
"What happened?" Serizawa asked, already anticipating the worst.
"According to satellite telemetry, the team was attacked by three unidentified behemoths. Subsequently, Miraluz—dispatched from Isla Nublar—intervened and neutralized all three hostiles," she reported with professional detachment.
"Three rampage beasts? They were hidden on Isla Sorna this entire time? And you're saying Miraluz eliminated them single-handedly?"
Serizawa's initial surprise quickly gave way to stunned disbelief.
The same beasts that had once devastated Chicago had been terminated by a single entity.
The implications were profound. Miraluz had ascended to an unprecedented level of lethality.
At that moment, two additional figures entered the operations center: Dr. Houston Brooks and Dr. Lin Shan, co-proponents of the Hollow Earth theory.
As foundational members of Monarch, both had participated in the 1973 Skull Island expedition alongside James Conrad and Mason Weaver.
Their long-standing collaboration had evolved into a personal and professional partnerships, and they now occupied senior leadership roles within the organization.
The news of the outpost team's demise had reached them.
Grief etched their expressions, underscoring the high cost of humanity's ongoing engagement with these ancient titans.
"Dr. Serizawa, we're forming a special task force to target the newest man-made monster—Miraluz," Brooks said with conviction.
"According to our expert team's assessment, Miraluz has been raised in captivity by humans since childhood. It harbors deep hostility toward humanity. Its danger level has officially been classified as Class A. We must eliminate it before it fully evolves. If we allow it to continue advancing, the consequences could be catastrophic."
Serizawa frowned, the weight of the situation pressing on him.
"But we're already short on personnel," he replied with a sigh.
"And Isla Nublar falls under Costa Rican jurisdiction. They don't have a standing army—only police and internal security forces. I'm afraid they won't be able to assist us."
Monarch had already deployed multiple special teams across the globe to combat emergent threats.
Resources were stretched thin.
Requesting reinforcements from other nations was pointless—each was preoccupied with its own monster crises.
"We'll lead the task force ourselves," Lin Shan said confidently, stepping forward.
"We'll organize a unit and head to Isla Nublar directly. Our goal is twofold: eliminate Miraluz and secure the island by taking control of all the dinosaurs. We cannot allow them to pose a threat to humanity."
After all, Nublar wasn't Skull Island. There were no perpetual thunderclouds, no bizarre, ancient predators lurking in every shadow.
It was home only to genetically resurrected dinosaurs—creatures whose biology, in theory, was familiar.
And Miraluz? A mutant dinosaur.
Strong, yes, but could it be more dangerous than the Skullcrawlers or King Kong himself?
Serizawa looked at Brooks and Lin Shan. Their confidence was unwavering, but he hesitated.
Miraluz had already displayed power far beyond expectations.
There was something more to it—something primal, perhaps intelligent.
In Serizawa's experience, it wasn't weakness that doomed humanity.
It was ignorance... and arrogance.
Still, Brooks and Lin Shan were resolute. Driven by a desire to avenge their fallen colleagues, their decision was final. Serizawa held his tongue.
Meanwhile, as Monarch finalized its plans and assembled its special task force...
-----------------
Jack had already returned to Isla Nublar. With a single command, the entire Jurassic Alliance rallied to his side.
Within half a day, the dinosaurs noticed something had changed.
Their Dragon King—Jack—seemed larger than before, radiating an aura of dominance that left them instinctively trembling in submission.
Hovering high above on enormous wings, Jack surveyed his domain.
Then, he drew out the three vials of rage serum from the simulator storage.
The war for Isla Nublar had already begun.
The three vials of rage potion were no larger than Jack's fingers.
Each one was filled with a fluorescent green liquid that began to evaporate the moment it touched the air.
Once ingested, the potion's engineered animal genome would rapidly enhance the recipient's size, strength, endurance, agility, and other physical attributes.
Additionally, it would unlock unique genetic abilities tailored to the biology of each creature.
"Begin the evolution," Jack commanded.
He tossed the first vial toward Gray and the Jurassic Five Dragon Generals.
The glass shattered on impact, releasing a thick cloud of glowing green vapor.
Within seconds, the gas was fully absorbed into their bodies.
"ROAR!!"
Gray and the five dragon generals roared in unison as the effects kicked in.
A strange sensation surged through their limbs—powerful, overwhelming, unfamiliar.
Jack didn't stop there. He dropped the remaining two vials in succession—one toward the clusters of herbivores, and the other above the lagoon where the Mosasaur lurked below.
Green mist rose, swirling through the air, and each dinosaur inhaled it instinctively. Within moments, the entire gathering grew restless.
Roars echoed across the island like rolling thunder.
Inside their cells, the potion's synthetic genome went to work, rewriting their DNA from the spiral cores outward.
Neuromuscular synapse activity skyrocketed. Blood is flooded with growth hormones.
Their bodies began to change.
Jack hovered above them, wings stretched wide, watching with intense anticipation.
The storm was coming.
And now, it was time to witness a miracle.
