Toji Fushiguro stood at the viewport of his private chambers in the royal wing of the Imperial Palace, watching the Terror World as it orbited the throne planet.
The mechanical breathing of his Vader suit provided a steady rhythm as he contemplated the massive weapon now under his control.
Behind him, Vegeta and Nappa sat at a large conference table, surrounded by holographic displays showing various sectors of the Eastern Quadrant - his newly acquired territory.
"These agricultural worlds in Sector 87 are operating at only thirty percent capacity," Vegeta noted, manipulating one of the displays. "Cooler was using them primarily as military outposts rather than food production."
Nappa nodded, "Classic Cooler strategy. Always prioritized military positioning over economic development. Complete opposite of Freeza's approach."
"Explain the difference," Toji commanded, turning from the viewport to face them. His cape settled around him as he moved to join them at the table.
Vegeta leaned back, crossing his arms. "Freeza focuses on maximum resource extraction. She identifies valuable planets, strips them of resources, then either sells them or destroys them. Efficient but short-sighted."
"Cooler was more..." Nappa searched for the right word, "...methodical. Less immediate profit, more long-term strategy. Military outposts, research facilities, defensive positions. Planning for centuries rather than decades."
"Neither approach seems ideal," Toji observed, his voice carrying a hint of disapproval. "One depletes resources too quickly, the other underutilizes them."
"That's the Cold Empire for you," Vegeta scoffed. "Inefficiency masked by overwhelming power."
Toji studied the displays showing resource distribution, population centers, and military installations across his territory. "What's the most immediate problem that needs addressing?"
Nappa scratched his bald head. "Food shortages in the outer systems. Cooler's death disrupted the supply chains. Several planets are approaching famine conditions."
"And the military situation?" Toji asked.
"Unstable," Vegeta replied bluntly. "Cooler's forces are awaiting direction. Some have already defected to Freeza's command, others are establishing independent fiefdoms."
"We need more detailed intelligence," Toji concluded, rising to his full height. "Our information is too fragmented."
As he spoke those words, the atmosphere in the room suddenly changed. The temperature dropped several degrees.
The lights dimmed without anyone touching the controls. Shadows in the corners of the room seemed to deepen and move of their own accord.
Lord Duskborn was the first to sense it, something appearing out of from first being completely absent.
Vegeta and Nappa were instantly on alert, rising to their feet with ki flaring at their fingertips.
"What the-" Nappa began, but fell silent as five distinct phenomena occurred simultaneously around the room.
In one corner, shadows coalesced into a tall figure wearing robes made from materials that seemed to absorb light.
In another, a beautiful woman with completely white eyes simply appeared as if she had always been there.
From the ceiling, a grotesque patchwork of biological and mechanical components descended on thin cables.
Through the solid wall, a tall, unnaturally thin figure phased partially into existence. And from the floor, geometric crystal structures rose to form a humanoid shape.
"The Shadow Court greets Lord Duskborn, new master of the Eastern Quadrant," the shadow-robed figure announced in perfect rhyming couplets. "Our services continue, as with Cooler before his departure."
Vegeta and Nappa looked stunned, exchanging confused glances.
"What is this?" Vegeta demanded, his ki flaring brighter. "Who are you people?"
The white-eyed woman smiled, her gaze seeming to look through rather than at them. "We are the ones who see what others cannot... the whispers behind closed doors... the thoughts behind guarded minds..."
The grotesque patchwork being let out an unsettling mechanical giggle. "We're Lord Cooler's special friends! Or were, before he got himself spectacularly vaporized! His personal problem-solvers for the messier issues. Heehee!"
"The Shadow Court exists beyond official records," the crystalline figure stated precisely. "Probability of your awareness: 0.037%. Operational parameters: classified beyond your clearance level."
The partially phased figure moved closer, its face perpetually shadowed despite the room's lighting. "The Phantom serves as Cooler served Cold. The Shadow Court maintains balance where the light of the Empire cannot reach. The agreement continues with new master as agreement continued with old."
Toji remained motionless, his mechanical breathing the only sound as he assessed these unexpected visitors.
A secret intelligence network? Black ops team? Some kind of specialized force Cooler had maintained outside the normal imperial hierarchy?
"You presume much," Toji finally said, his modulated voice dropping to a dangerous tone. "Entering the private chambers of Lord Duskborn without invitation or announcement."
The robed figure bowed, his movements elegant despite his imposing height. "Forgiveness we seek for our sudden appearance, tradition dictated our timing and clearance. Lord Cooler permitted our coming and going, a privilege established through centuries of knowing."
"I am not Cooler," Toji stated flatly.
"Indeed not!" the patchwork creature cackled, several mechanical parts whirring as he moved closer. "You're the one who sent our dear lord to that big freezer in the sky! Or rather, your golden pet did the deed while you were off playing house with the Empress! Heeheehee!"
Vegeta's eyes widened at the creature's boldness. "Watch your tongue, abomination, before I tear it from your throat!"
"The Alchemist speaks without filter or fear," the robed figure - apparently called The Collector - continued smoothly. "A trait that proves useful despite manner severe. The Shadow Court served Lord Cooler with loyalty true, now we offer those same rare talents to you."
"What exactly did you do for Cooler?" Toji asked, making no move to either accept or reject their presence.
The white-eyed woman - The Whisperer - moved closer, her movements fluid and graceful. "We saw what needed seeing... heard what needed hearing... ended what needed ending..."
"We killed people!" The Alchemist interrupted with another disturbing giggle. "Manipulated genetic structures! Created designer plagues for particularly stubborn populations! Extracted information from subjects who'd rather die than talk - and often did, in MOST entertaining ways!"
"The Architect designed structures beyond conventional limitations," the crystalline being stated. "Fortifications with 97.3% increased efficiency. Weapons platforms optimized for maximum destruction with minimal resource expenditure. Probability of successful infiltration: 0.0042%."
"The Phantom moves where others cannot," the shadowy figure added. "Barriers mean nothing to the Void Wraith. Secrets hide poorly from one who walks through walls. Assassination requires no weapons when death comes from within."
Nappa looked distinctly uncomfortable. "I served in Freeza's army for decades and never heard of any 'Shadow Court.'"
"That's the whole point, muscle-head!" The Alchemist cackled. "We're the best-kept secret in the Cold Empire! Only the Inner Circle even knows we exist! Well, and now you two monkeys, I suppose. Hope you enjoy living with that knowledge! Most who learn about us don't live very long! Heeheehee!"
"The Empress prefers direct approach to subtle manipulation," The Collector explained rhythmically. "Her brother's methods required our special consultation. King Cold created us as tools for his children to win over, and permits our existence with careful limitation, serving the dynasty through discrete operation."
Throughout this exchange, The Whisperer had been staring intently at Toji.
Unlike her companions, who were assessing the new lord with professional calculation, her gaze held something different - fascination, even reverence.
Inside her mind, The Whisperer was experiencing something that never happened before to her.
For centuries, her psychic senses had perceived powerful beings like King Cold and Freeza as bottomless pits of darkness - terrifying voids that threatened to consume her if she looked too deeply.
Lesser beings appeared as chaotic swirls of thought and emotion, overwhelming in their own way.
But this being, this Lord Duskborn... he appeared to her senses as pure radiant light.
Not the absence of thought like the Cold family's mental barriers, but something entirely different - a presence so bright it almost hurt to perceive.
Where darkness had always signified power in her experience, here was power manifested as light.
'He is the light in the void,' she thought, her normally fragmented mind suddenly crystal clear. 'The one who shines where all others cast shadows.'
While her companions continued explaining their functions to the increasingly irritated Saiyans, The Whisperer's focus remained entirely on Toji.
She tried to touch his mind with her abilities, to glimpse the thoughts behind that imposing mask, but found his consciousness completely impenetrable - not dark and forbidding like Cold's, but brilliantly shielded, like trying to look directly at a star.
"Enough," Toji commanded, silencing the ongoing explanations. "You claim to have served Cooler. Why come to me now?"
The Collector stepped forward, his robes shifting like living shadows. "The Court serves the universe's rightful lord, a tradition established since Cold's earliest word. Our talents and knowledge span centuries long, resources you'll find both unique and strong. We served Cooler rather than Freeza for he was strong and bold."
"What my melodramatic colleague means," The Alchemist interjected, "is that we're part of the package deal! Cooler spent centuries establishing networks, gathering intelligence, developing assets - all managed through us! Without the Shadow Court, you'd be flying blind in your new territory!"
"The statistical probability of successful governance without established intelligence networks is 2.17%," The Architect added. "Operational efficiency would decrease by 78.9% without Shadow Court integration into command structure."
Vegeta's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "This sounds like you're trying to make yourselves indispensable to Lord Duskborn."
"The monkey prince shows unexpected perception," The Collector acknowledged with a slight bow. "Our value is indeed beyond simple conception. Lord Duskborn's power none would dare to question, but power alone cannot provide every lesson."
Nappa crossed his massive arms. "I don't trust them. Anything Cooler valued this much can't be good."
Toji remained silent, observing the subtle dynamics between the five beings.
Though they presented themselves as a unified court, he could sense the tensions and hierarchies within their group.
The Collector clearly served as their spokesperson, The Architect provided analytical support, The Phantom operated independently, and The Alchemist seemed barely contained by the group's protocols.
But The Whisperer... she was watching him with an intensity that went beyond professional interest.
Her ki signature pulsed with something akin to religious fervor whenever her white eyes fixed on him.
'Interesting,' Toji thought. 'They're testing me - trying to establish the same relationship they had with Cooler. They clearly preferred his methodical approach over Freeza's.'
"You mentioned networks and intelligence," Toji said finally. "What specific information do you have about the current state of the Eastern Quadrant?"
The five members of the Shadow Court exchanged quick glances - a momentary break in their carefully choreographed presentation.
"The Phantom has observed seventeen military commanders establishing independent control," the shadowy figure offered. "Former Cooler Force captains claiming territories without authorization. The rebellion grows in the absence of clear authority."
"Probability of full-scale civil war within 37 standard days: 72.4%," The Architect added. "Resource distribution networks operating at 31.7% efficiency. Projected food shortages on 1,247 worlds within one standard month."
"The thoughts of the people turn dark with fear," The Whisperer murmured, her voice dreamlike. "They wonder if the Cold Dynasty weakens... if the time for rebellion approaches... old hatreds resurface in the vacuum of power..."
"We have detailed files on every system!" The Alchemist exclaimed, producing a small device from within his patchwork body. "Every governor, every resource, every secret rebellion, every hidden asset! All at your fingertips, my luminous lord! All we ask is to continue our... special arrangements."
"What arrangements?" Toji demanded, his mechanical breathing filling the silence that followed.
Again, that momentary exchange of glances among the Court members.
"Certain operational freedoms were permitted," The Collector began carefully. "Resources allocated without standard oversight, access granted beyond normal limitation, actions taken with discretion and separation."
"They want autonomy," Vegeta translated bluntly. "The ability to operate outside imperial protocols, just as they did under Cooler."
"Precisely!" The Alchemist cackled. "The monkey gets it! We need room to work our particular brand of magic! Sometimes that means bending certain... ethical constraints that might trouble more conventional minds!"
Toji sensed what was truly at play. These beings had operated with near-complete freedom under Cooler, who had valued their results enough to grant them extraordinary latitude.
Now they were testing whether Toji would maintain those privileges or bring them under stricter control.
More importantly, he sensed their true allegiance - not to him, not even to Cooler, but to King Cold himself.
They were Cold's instruments, placed within his children's territories to serve the emperor's broader agenda.
He may have offered them to his children for whoever wins them over, but never did Cooler truly have their loyalty.
All except The Whisperer, whose attention remained fixed on Toji. While the others spoke, she had been slowly moving closer to him, drawn as if by some irresistible force.
"Lord Duskborn shines with purpose..." she whispered, her voice carrying despite its softness. "A light in the darkness... a fire in the void..."
The Collector noticed her movement and tried to catch her attention with a subtle gesture. "The Whisperer's perceptions often run quite deep, though sometimes her focus drifts as if asleep. Perhaps we should continue this discussion anew, when formal protocols we've had time to review."
But The Whisperer ignored him, continuing her approach toward Toji. "I see you... truly see you... not as others do..."
Toji remained silent, observing what she would do, and looking to see if she would provide him something to work with.
The Whisperer moved behind him while the others were speaking, and with breathtaking boldness, placed her hand intimately against his back, between his shoulder blades.
"The light..." she whispered reverently. "I must touch the light..."
"Whisperer, no!" The Collector called out in alarm, his rhyming pattern momentarily forgotten. "Return to formation before harm befalls!"
"The probability of adverse reaction is 97.6%!" The Architect warned urgently. "Behavioral protocols violated beyond acceptable parameters!"
But The Whisperer seemed entranced, her white eyes glowing as she pressed her palm more firmly against Toji's back. "I serve the light now," she declared, her normally fragmented speech suddenly clear and purposeful. "The darkness has held me too long."
Without turning, Toji clenched slightly his hand. The Whisperer was suddenly lifted from the ground, her feet dangling as an invisible force closed around her throat.
She made no move to resist, her expression one of ecstatcy despite her choking.
"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, woman," Toji said coldly, still not turning to face her.
The other members of the Shadow Court froze, clearly shocked by both The Whisperer's transgression and Toji's response.
Even Vegeta and Nappa seemed taken aback by the sudden display of power.
"Lord Duskborn," The Collector began cautiously, "The Whisperer's behavior is most unusual, her actions not typical but quite anomalous. Perhaps mercy might be-"
He was interrupted by a sudden cry from the corner of the room where Megumi had been sleeping in his floating ki bubble.
The infant was awake now, his violet eyes fixed on The Whisperer with unmistakable anger.
Before anyone could react, the baby opened his mouth and unleashed a purple energy beam directly at the suspended woman.
Toji moved with blinding speed, releasing The Whisperer from his telekinetic grip and placing himself between her and Megumi's attack.
He caught the energy blast in his gloved hand, the impact forcing him to steady himself despite his immense power.
The room fell into shocked silence as Toji stood there, holding the compressed energy of his son's attack in his fist.
With a gesture, he closed his hand completely, crushing the energy ball. Smoke rose from his glove, but the material remained undamaged, protected by his ki.
"Impossible..." Vegeta whispered, as he sensed Megumi's power during his rage. "The child... his power level..."
"Over a billion," Nappa finished, his face pale with shock. "From an infant!"
Toji walked calmly to Megumi's bubble, reaching through the ki barrier to gently touch his son's cheek. The baby immediately calmed, grasping his father's finger with surprising strength.
"It seems my son doesn't appreciate your presumption either," Toji said, turning back to The Whisperer, who had collapsed to her knees, still staring at him with worshipful eyes.
"The light protects itself," she whispered, seemingly untroubled by her near-death experience. "Perfect... beautiful..."
Toji regarded the Shadow Court while thinking.
There was a long silence only interrupted by his breathing.
"Let me be clear," Toji announced, his mechanical breathing punctuating the silence. "I am not Cooler. I am not Freeza. Your previous arrangements are void."
The Alchemist's mechanical parts whirred anxiously. "But my lord, without our networks, without our intelligence-"
"I did not say I would not use your services," Toji interrupted. "Merely that the terms have changed."
He moved to stand before them, his imposing black figure towering over even The Collector. "You will operate under my direct authority. Your activities will be documented and reported to me personally. There will be no 'special arrangements' or autonomous operations."
The Shadow Court members exchanged glances, clearly displeased with these new restrictions. All except The Whisperer, who remained on her knees, gazing up at Toji with adoration.
"Furthermore," Toji continued, "I have your first assignment."
He gestured to a holographic display, which shifted to show a sector of space at the edge of the known universe. "The Southern Galactic Quadrant. Seventeen percent of it remains outside imperial control - the highest percentage of any quadrant."
"The Collector knows this region well indeed, a lawless frontier where many secrets feed. Pirates and outlaws make their dwelling there, beyond the reach of those who might ensnare."
"Precisely," Toji nodded. "You will explore this region for me. Map its resources, identify its power structures, locate any... anomalies of interest."
"Anomalies?" The Architect questioned, its crystalline form shifting slightly. "Please specify parameters for identification criteria."
"Unusual power signatures," Toji clarified. "Particularly any unregistered Saiyan life signs."
Vegeta's head snapped up at this. "Saiyan life signs? What are you-"
"Additionally," Toji continued, ignoring Vegeta's question, "you will identify potential worlds for development. Not conquest - development. Agricultural worlds, manufacturing centers, research facilities."
The Shadow Court seemed confused by this directive - all except The Whisperer, who smiled as if she understood something the others did not.
"The light seeks to grow, not destroy," she murmured. "To build where others would burn..."
"This assignment is... unusual," The Collector observed carefully. "Our talents typically trend toward darker arts, not building blocks for economic starts."
"Consider it a test of your adaptability," Toji replied. "Unless you feel your talents are too specialized for such work? If so do tell me. I'll deal with you accordingly. I doubt the King or my woman have any use for you."
The warning and challenge were clear - prove your value beyond Cooler's narrow applications or die.
"The Alchemist can analyze soil compositions, atmospheric conditions, biological compatibility!" the patchwork being volunteered quickly. "Not as fun as designing plagues, but I do have the skillset! Heehee!"
"The Architect's primary function is structural analysis and design," the crystalline figure added. "Agricultural infrastructure can be optimized with 87.3% greater efficiency than standard imperial models."
"The Phantom moves unseen among frontier worlds. The Phantom observes native populations without disruption. Information gathered without contamination provides more accurate assessment."
"The Collector's knowledge spans civilizations vast, records of farming techniques from present and past. Economic systems both failed and successful, development models proven most effectual."
Only The Whisperer remained silent, still kneeling before Toji.
"Rise," Toji commanded her directly without looking at her.
She stood gracefully, moving closer than was proper but not touching him again. "The Whisperer hears the thoughts of those who would hide... feels the intentions of those who would deceive... knows the hearts of those who would resist..."
"Good," Toji nodded. "You will depart immediately. I expect regular reports - detailed, accurate, and complete."
The Shadow Court recognized the dismissal for what it was - a test of their obedience and a punishment for their presumption. The unexplored frontier was dangerous territory, far from the comforts and resources of the imperial core.
"As Lord Duskborn commands, so shall it be done," The Collector intoned, bowing deeply. "Though distant stars will keep us far from home, our loyalty remains wherever we may roam."
One by one, they departed through the same mysterious means they had arrived. The Phantom simply phased back through the wall.
The Architect's crystalline form sank into the floor, dissolving into geometric patterns.
The Alchemist fired grappling hooks from his body and was pulled up through a ventilation shaft.
The Collector's form dissolved into shadows that slipped away beneath the door.
Only The Whisperer lingered, her gaze still fixed on Toji.
"The light calls to me," she whispered. "Even across the void, I will hear it. I will serve it. I will return to it."
With those words, she simply vanished - not fading or moving, but simply ceasing to be present in one instant.
'Crazy woman. Like hell I care for you when I have the most beautiful one in the universe as my own. She's lucky I have no interest in losing a pawn that can apparently read thoughts- one word to Freeza and she will strip her bones from her flesh and feed them to her inch by inch.'
The moment they were gone, Vegeta rounded on Toji. "What was that about Saiyan life signs? Do you know something you're not telling us?"
Nappa nodded vigorously. "Yeah! Are there other survivors besides us and Kakarot?"
Toji turned toward the viewport, looking out at the stars. "Merely covering all possibilities. The universe is vast. It would be presumptuous to assume we know all survivors of any species. Especially in the most unknown part of the cosmos."
Vegeta clearly wasn't satisfied with this answer, but before he could press further, the door slid open and Bulma entered, followed closely by Goku.
"There you are!" Bulma exclaimed. "We've been looking everywhere for you! The palace is impossible to navigate without-" She stopped, noticing the tension in the room. "What happened? Why does it smell like ozone in here?"
"Megumi fired an energy blast," Nappa explained, still looking shocked. "Power level over a billion."
"What?!" Goku rushed over to the baby's bubble, peering in with amazement. "That's incredible! He's not even a year old!"
Bulma approached more cautiously. "Is he okay? What caused it?"
"We had... visitors," Toji explained, removing his helmet as the door closed behind them. "The Shadow Court."
"The what now?" Goku asked, scratching his head.
"Cooler's secret intelligence network," Vegeta supplied. "Apparently they've been operating for centuries without most of the empire knowing about them."
Bulma's curiosity immediately engaged. "Secret agents? What were they like? What did they want?"
"They wanted to continue their arrangement with Cooler," Toji explained, placing his helmet on the conference table. "Autonomous operations, special privileges, minimal oversight."
"And you sent them away," Bulma guessed.
"To the Southern Quadrant," Toji confirmed. "To map the unexplored regions and identify worlds for development."
"And to look for Saiyans," Vegeta added pointedly.
Goku's eyes widened. "Other Saiyans? You think there might be more survivors?"
Toji moved to check on Megumi, who had fallen back asleep after his unusual display of power. "It's a possibility worth exploring."
"But why send them specifically to look for Saiyans?" Vegeta pressed, clearly suspicious of Toji's motivations. "What aren't you telling us?"
Toji turned to face the Saiyan prince. "Consider it covering all bases. If there are other survivors, they could be valuable allies... or potential threats."
This seemed to satisfy Vegeta temporarily, though suspicion still lingered in his eyes.
"What about Megumi?" Bulma asked, changing the subject as she looked at the sleeping infant. "Should we be concerned about these... power surges?"
"He was protecting me," Toji explained. "One of the Court members - The Whisperer - approached me inappropriately. Megumi sensed her intentions and reacted."
"He sensed her intentions?" Bulma repeated incredulously. "He's an infant! How could he possibly understand something so complex?"
"The same way he fired an energy blast with a power level over a billion," Vegeta interjected. "He's not an ordinary child. He's half Frost Demon, and his father is... whatever Toji is."
"A mistake of the gods," Toji murmured, quoting King Cold.
"Well, whatever he is, we should probably monitor these power fluctuations. We don't want him to blow up the Galaxy during a tantrum or something." Bulma suggested, switching to scientific problem-solving mode.
"I could design some sensors to track his energy output, maybe create a more stable containment field if necessary."
"No containment," Toji said firmly. "He's not dangerous - he's protective. There's a difference."
Goku approached Megumi's bubble, smiling at the sleeping baby. "He's gonna be one heck of a fighter someday! Maybe even stronger than you, Toji!"
"That's the goal," Toji replied softly, surprising everyone with the genuine emotion in his voice.
Nappa cleared his throat awkwardly. "So what was with that creepy white-eyed woman? The way she was looking at you..."
"The Whisperer," Toji nodded. "A telepath, apparently. I sensed her probe my mind. She seemed... fixated on me for some reason."
"Fixated is putting it mildly," Vegeta scoffed. "She was practically worshipping you. Called you 'the light' repeatedly."
"The light?" Bulma repeated, looking confused.
"According to what I heard from her thoughts when she tried to hear mine, she perceives powerful beings like Cold and Freeza as darkness," Toji explained. "For some reason, she sees me differently."
"Maybe because you're not actually evil?" Goku suggested bluntly.
Everyone turned to stare at him.
"What?" Goku shrugged. "Freeza and her family have killed billions of people. I know we kinda work with them right now, since we need to, but still. Toji hasn't. Maybe that's what she's sensing."
"That's... surprisingly insightful, Kakarot," Vegeta admitted reluctantly.
"Thanks!" Goku beamed. "I have good ideas sometimes!"
"Do you think they'll actually do what you ordered?" Bulma asked, returning to the matter of the Shadow Court. "They seemed pretty set in their ways."
"They'll do it," Toji confirmed confidently. "They're too valuable to Cold's overall strategy to risk insubordination. Besides, I suspect they're already curious about what I might be looking for in the Southern Quadrant."
"And what exactly are you looking for?" Vegeta demanded, his patience clearly wearing thin. "Why this sudden interest in possible Saiyan survivors?"
Toji considered his response carefully.
He couldn't reveal his knowledge of Broly and Paragus without explaining how he knew of their existence. Yet he needed a plausible reason for his interest.
"King Cold mentioned the legend of the Legendary Super Saiyan," Toji finally said. "For some reason I feel... uneasy. My instincts warn me, and they warn me to be wary of that direction." as he turned towards the direction of the Southern Galactic Quadret.
"If they exist, they could be a possible ally," Toji stated.
"Or to eliminate them if they prove hostile," Nappa added darkly.
"Precisely," Toji nodded. "Either way, knowledge is power."
"Now you sound like Cold," Vegeta muttered.
"Speaking of knowledge," Bulma interjected, "what are we going to do about Megumi's power spikes? Even if we don't contain them, we should at least understand them."
Toji gazed at his sleeping son. "I'll speak with Freeza. As a Frost Demon, she may have insights into his development that we lack."
"Good luck with that conversation," Nappa snorted. "'Hey, your highness, our son just fired an energy blast powerful enough to kill most beings in the universe. Any thoughts?'"
Despite the tension, everyone chuckled at Nappa's impression - everyone except Toji, who continued watching Megumi with a thoughtful expression.
'He is powerful. I should be happy, but why does my own child being so powerful make me... uneasy.'

Near countless Light years away, deep in a cave, in a mad scientist's lab.
A child looking four years old's eyes - floating in green liquid - twitched.

(Author note: Hello everyone! I hope you all liked the chapter!
Do tell me how you found it.
Before anything- no, the Whisperer will never get with Toji. It's just a fun thing I've written knowing a Vader comic.
Tell me, how long do you think she'll live for? How many chapters before either Toji or Freeza kill her? Or will anyone else kill her? Or will she live? Do tell me your thoughts.
Oh yeah, Megumi. Yeah, human DNA gives quite the power spike when angry. You guys asked for his power level? When angry over 1 billion. When calm, not using Ki, just existing within him, around 23 000.
I hope to see you all later,
Bye!)
