Chapter 19 - ten transformations

"Hmm, oh, did the scan finish that quickly…?"

Seth muttered in delight as he heard the Omnitrix confirm successful DNA extraction from the fish-man species.

"Hmm… that makes ten transformations now."

He tapped the hidden Omnitrix emblem on his chest. It let out a soft mechanical tone, and a green, disk-shaped holographic interface appeared before his eyes, displaying icons of the stored transformations in the genetic library.

Sea King Serpent Form. Common Zoan Flea Form. Legendary Zoan Elephant Form. Flame-Flame Ability. Creation-Creation Ability. Pressure-Pressure Ability. Aura-Aura Ability. Gray Matter Form. .... . And now, Fish-Man Form.

"Let's see what this new form can actually do…"

A faint spark of energy ran through his body. His muscles tightened briefly, then relaxed. His teeth began to sharpen, becoming longer and more pointed.

"Hmm… just the teeth, huh…" Seth muttered, frowning as he ran his tongue along his sharpened canines.

"They feel extremely sharp…" he murmured, brushing his fingers over his fangs. Then he cancelled the transformation and scoffed mockingly.

"Useless transformation. What the hell am I supposed to do with sharper teeth?"

"Tch, aside from underwater breathing and enhanced strength, the rest is worthless."

He shrugged and whispered to himself,

"Doesn't matter. I wasn't expecting much. I was just curious to see how the Fish-Man transformation would look anyway…"

He slid the navigation book into the small pouch on his hip. His thoughts flowed smoothly as he instantly entered the Creation-Creation ability state.

He activated it, generating several glowing hands made of pure energy.

He swept every map out of the room, stacking them in front of him. With a snap of his fingers, he conjured a large storage box and packed the papers and some tools inside.

He left the room, strolling through the building like he owned it, the box floating obediently behind him.

If you asked him what two powers he had trained the most over the past seven months , besides swordsmanship and physical training ,it would be the Creation-Creation and Pressure-Pressure abilities.

After looting everything of value in the building, from treasures to documents that could aid his plans, he strutted out with the massive floating box trailing behind him.

"Oh! I completely forgot about those damn fish corpses…" he muttered, visibly annoyed as he glanced at the courtyard full of bodies, most notably the Sea King cow-like creature.

He scratched his head with his right hand, or rather, the sharp, claw-like metal prosthetic attached to his right forearm. Feeling the cold steel, he sighed bitterly.

"I look more like a pirate than most actual pirates…" he mocked himself, then focused back on the corpses.

His eyes narrowed, and in a flat tone, he whispered,

"I hate how this building looks. Better to crush it all into dust."

He raised his foot and stomped down. But before it hit the ground, a glowing red platform appeared, supporting him. Instantly, similar platforms materialized, forming something like a floating staircase.

"Now this is why I love this ability…"

Seth smiled as he climbed higher. Once he was high enough, he spotted his boat docked on the shore from the corner of his eye. He pointed with his metallic hook, and the floating box responded, zooming to the boat and unloading its contents neatly.

"Now then…" He turned his gaze from the boat back down below. A wide smile spread across his face.

"This is the second time I've done this..."

He took a deep breath and deactivated his current transformation. He couldn't switch directly between forms; he always had to revert to his human shape first.

As soon as he did, the platform beneath his feet vanished along with the Creation-Creation ability. Instantly, gravity returned ,and he began plummeting.

His mind acted fast. Without hesitation, he entered the Pressure-Pressure ability state.

Zztt!!

He plummeted like a missile, body slicing through the air, wind screaming in his ears, pressure building around him , heavier and heavier.

"Pressure Burst."

He spoke the words calmly, as his right fist ignited with a translucent aura. The air around him shimmered and cracked before he even moved, pulling everything inward like a vacuum.

BOOOOM!!

He swung his fist back and slammed it downward. A white, film-like force erupted on impact.

At first, nothing exploded. Seth simply stopped, frozen midair.

Then that pale film spread outward from the point of impact, sweeping across the courtyard and the entire building.

From a distance, it looked like a massive transparent dome had engulfed Arlong's base.

The moment the film touched anything, it began disintegrating, silently, effortlessly.

The air felt distorted, as if some invisible force was collapsing everything inward like a black hole. Any solid matter within the zone began to lose cohesion.

Stone crumbled into dust. Steel compressed like brittle sand. Wood imploded soundlessly from the inside, as if all natural laws inside that dome had ceased to exist.

Even light seemed distorted ,bent, crushed, escaping.

In the blink of an eye, everything was gone. Obliterated. Disintegrated into fine dust. Stone dissolved. Steel shattered. Everything within that blast radius was erased.

The building that once stood tall was now a crater in the earth. A swirling vacuum of air howled above it, the only sound being the ocean rushing in to fill the void.

Seth, having used the Pressure ability to slow his fall, cancelled it midair and transformed into the massive Sea King Serpent form. He dove into the sea, heading for the shore.

When he reached land, he immediately reverted to human form and collapsed beside the boat, breathing heavily. He wiped sweat from his forehead.

"Tch ! , that technique really drains energy..."

"But it's worth every drop. The ability to erase everything... it's my ultimate trump card."

His hand touched the steel plate on his chest.

"And of course… the Omnitrix! , is far more than a mere trump card."

"Hmm… I should get out of here. Even if I used the Pressure ability to muffle the sound, they must've felt the quake. It won't be long before someone realizes their slaver base just vanished."

"Even an idiot would notice the island's terrain has changed…" Seth laughed, wiped his brow again, and pushed the heavy boat into the sea.

He sailed away from the shore, heading toward the opposite side of the island. Pulling out a map from his coat, he spread it across one of the crates.

"Hmm! if I want to reach the Marine branch without drawing too much attention, this is the route I should take…" He drew a line with a pen, then folded the map and tucked it away.

Grrrrrr!!

"Sigh, I'm starving…" he muttered bitterly, stomach growling.

He ignored it for now, glancing at the treasure onboard , approximately 323 million Berries in gold, manuscripts, books, and documents detailing Arlong's dealings with Marine Lieutenant Nezumi.

The papers directly incriminated Nezumi in covering up Arlong's brutal control over Cocoyashi Village.

If those files ever reached Marine HQ, losing his rank would be the least of Nezumi's problems.

Seth's goal was simple , use the documents to threaten Nezumi into abandoning Cocoyashi, under the pretense that Seth now controlled it.

Honestly, he would've preferred to kill him outright, but eliminating a low-level rat like Nezumi might attract unwanted attention, and that's the last thing he needed. Naturally, if Nezumi refused the threat…

Then he would move on to the backup plan.
