Outside, a white-armored knight spotted him and halted.
He was the captain of the Holy City's guards, a hero of his time — Eleon.
— "Hey! Who let you in here?"
Kraan turned. He slowly drew his sword.
His eyes were grim, but from within them burned a single light — truth. His own truth.
— "Thirteenth Knight of Darkness — the Sword Without a Banner."
Eleon unsheathed his blade and charged.
Steel clashed with steel, sparks burst through the silence of the sacred city. Eleon was a master swordsman, delivering swift and calculated strikes.
But Kraan made only one cut.
— "You have faith. I have truth."
His sword found the heart.
Blood. Silence. The white armor shattered. Eleon collapsed to his knees.
— "You're… a demon…"
— "No. Not a demon. We are the shadow of mankind."
IV. The Next Task — "Eliminate the High Priestess"
He did not look back.
With blood still on the blade, he sheathed it and vanished into the rising black mist.
His next mission awaited:
To eliminate the influential priestess and prophet of the Temple of Light — "Holy Farella."
V. Task: Destroy Holy Farella
The central hall of the Holy Temple.
Moonlight filtered through stained glass, spilling silver curtains onto the stone floor. In the center, a group of worshippers knelt while a woman in white robes preached solemnly.
She was Holy Farella, the Temple's most revered prophet, counselor, and conduit of divine power.
— "May the Lord guide us. May the Light bring victory over Darkness."
But… before she could finish her final word,
the window dimmed — the northern door burst open like thunder.
The black-armored knight, the Thirteenth — Kraan — entered the chamber.
Each step pierced the silence of the sanctuary.
His sword, drawn across his chest, devoured the moonlight. From its tip, cold air steamed like breath from the underworld.
Farella stopped, gently closing her book.
— "You… who are you?"
Kraan said nothing.
But his eyes spoke clearly:
"I am the living witness of the hell you built. The shadow your light abandoned. And now — I am justice."
