Today was the day Alex Ray held his meeting. At the gates of the Fisk Building, an array of luxury cars lined the curb—Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maybach—each gleaming under the morning sun as they parked in formation.

Every gang leader had shown up flanked by their entourages, but Alex had made one thing clear: each boss was only allowed to bring one person inside.

Any more, and not even the massive conference hall could contain the chaos—not to mention the increased risk of a full-scale fight breaking out inside the building.

Across the street, entire squadrons of gang members stood guard, fingers twitching on triggers, afraid something might happen to their bosses inside.

"What the hell's going on today? Why is it so crowded? All these gang bosses showing up at the Fisk Building?" a local woman muttered, a auntie standing near the sidewalk and taking in the extravagant scene.

In Hell's Kitchen, only bigshots rolled around in cars like these. If a regular person tried that, their car—and maybe their life—would be gone by morning.

"I heard it's because of Alex Ray," replied an older Asian woman, clearly better informed. "He runs that Good Luck Diner. Today he's gathering all the gangs for a big meeting."

"Something about opening a community college," she added.

"That's actually good news," the woman said. "I remember seeing Alex Ray when he was still a kid. One of the rare college students we had around here."

"Didn't think that even after he made it big, he'd still care about Hell's Kitchen," another woman commented.

"Word is, the streets around his restaurant are safe as hell these days. I swear, if I had the cash, I'd move into that neighborhood in a heartbeat," said the auntie.

"If anyone in Hell's Kitchen had money, they'd move out immediately. What's he even trying to do staying here?" another woman muttered skeptically.

"Well, whatever he's planning, it won't be easy," the Asian woman said with a sigh. "You see all those gang leaders out front? They're probably here to shut him down. It's a shame—us old folks want to support him, but we're useless now."

The auntie's face turned dark with anger. "These goddamn gang bastards should all rot in hell. My poor grandson was killed in a turf war when he wasn't even fifteen! They all deserve a damn rocket up their asses!"

"Shh!" the Asian woman gasped and quickly covered her mouth, eyes darting toward the street. She pulled the auntie away before someone overheard and they both disappeared.

To avoid collateral damage, both streets in front of the building had been sealed off. Only gang members with Alex Ray's invitation were allowed entry.

At the main entrance, five heavily armed guards and full security equipment stood ready. No one with weapons was getting inside.

"What the hell? You want us to walk in unarmed?" one of the gang leaders shouted during the security check. "I came here out of respect. A gang boss without a gun is asking to get shot!"

"Yeah, what's the meaning of this?" others joined in. "No weapons, no entry? That's bullshit!"

More voices rose in protest, demanding the rules be dropped so they could carry guns inside.

"For your own safety," the head of security said. "If some people are armed and others aren't, it's not fair."

"I swear on behalf of Wilson Fisk that every single one of you will walk out of this building alive," added a calm, deadly voice.

Bullseye, Fisk's infamous enforcer, stepped forward.

At the mention of Kingpin's name, the gang leaders fell silent and reluctantly agreed to the searches.

But as always, there was one young hothead who thought he was special. He stepped forward, ignoring the guards completely. "I'm not getting searched. What are you gonna do about it?"

Bullseye pulled out a pen—just a pen—from somewhere on his body. With a flick of his wrist—

Thwip!

The pen shot through the air, perfectly aimed, and stabbed straight through the kid's hand.

"AHHH!"

"I could kill you," Bullseye said coldly, "but I'm doing Alex Ray a favor today. Next time, it won't be your hand—it'll be your head."

He said it like he was talking about the weather, as if killing someone were as easy as snapping a pencil.

The gang leader went pale, clutching his bleeding hand. He didn't say another word. His men rushed forward to bandage him up, dragging him back.

The rest of the gang leaders got the message loud and clear and stopped complaining.

Bullseye looked over the crowd and announced loudly, "What we hate most is chaos. As long as you cooperate, everyone leaves this building alive. Harmony brings wealth, gentlemen. Harmony brings wealth."

Some scoffed. Some kept straight faces. Some looked genuinely spooked. But they all gave up their weapons without further protest.

Bullseye's skill was legendary. He could kill with anything—a playing card, a toothpick, a paper airplane. He'd once taken a man's eye out with a peanut at 100 yards. He was the reason no one tried anything stupid.

As the weapons check continued smoothly, five disheveled homeless men suddenly staggered toward the building entrance.

The guards immediately took notice. They reached for their firearms and called out, "Stop! This area's off-limits."

But the five men didn't respond. They kept coming, their steps uneven and disturbing.

As they drew closer, one of the guards froze. The men weren't just out of their minds—they had bomb fuses strapped to their chests.

"Bomb! Take cover! Protect the guests!"

Gunfire erupted. The guards aimed for the legs, trying to stop them without triggering the bombs.

Inside the building, Bullseye quickly ushered the gang leaders further in, keeping the interior orderly.

Though the five bombers were dropped before they reached the entrance, the timers on their bombs kept ticking.

Security raced to pile sandbags around the bodies, hoping to absorb the blasts.

But they were too spread out. There weren't enough sandbags. And now it was too late.

"You call this a guarantee?!"

"Get the hell outta here!"

"I knew it! Alex Ray set us up to kill us all!"

Panic broke out. Gang leaders inside the building began shouting, cursing Alex's name.

BOOM!

The bombs went off.

But nothing happened inside. No tremors. No screams. No structural damage. Just... silence.

The gang leaders stood frozen, blinking at each other in confusion. Had the bombs been real? Was this some kind of elaborate stunt?

Before they could make sense of it, Alex Ray entered the room.

He walked calmly through the lobby, flanked by Vongola I and Caine, his usual air of unshakable composure around him.

"Apologies, everyone," Alex said evenly. "I didn't host you properly, and you were frightened. But rest assured—the bombs were neutralized."

Confusion deepened. The gang bosses exchanged bewildered looks.

Was he joking? Had the bombs actually gone off? If so, how was the building intact?

Had Alex used some kind of superpower?

If he had... then no ordinary gun or blade would be of any use against him.

A few leaders began to glance at each other with growing fear.

"Let's head to the conference room," Alex said. "The meeting will begin shortly."

He turned and walked toward the elevator, his back exposed to dozens of men who had every reason to fear—or hate—him.

But no one moved. No one followed immediately.

They stood there, watching him walk away, the fear in their eyes slowly overtaking their anger.
